And Sloth Ducksworth
Do you not realize the pure mathematical ignorance in what you just said? How does shorter school days, less working hours for the teachers, less mental stress on the students, and being able to study at home, for free, online, instead of buying every book you need for school? How is what you said more expensive? Finland has an average 3,5 hours of school each day. They are instead encouraged and motivated with words, (words are not money), to study on their own time. And Finland is ranked #1 in education in the whole world. They even beat China and Japan. So please guys, stop shaming schools when you clearly need to go back to school.

Sorry, really didn't mean to be rude. Just been up for two days straight playing cities and then I saw your comment and I just burst. Sorry, no disrespect!

A Random Guy

Its not really the US school system that's flawed. Its the general stupidity and ignorance that a vast majority of American citizens feel towards educating themselves in other subjects than those that only appeal to the individual. That is actually statistically proven. 17% of americans think the world is run by lizard people. In most states in the us, the citizens dont even know that there are other States in the Country of the Untied States of America.

In Sweden we have 5-7 hours of school, and yet, we are one of the most successful countries when it comes to education. Finland is the ultimate winner tho.

Stop blurting out one stupid sentence. If you dont like it, MOVE, or do something about it,

Students tend to learn better with smaller classes, shorter days and more causal enviroment. However that requires a larger budget, it's cheaper to have as many students to a teacher as possible.

@sagiluv1 - Thanks, but it's alright. Honestly that wasn't a complain at all, It makes sense & he's just pointing out the my stat imbalance, which I intentional made it that way(no plans to change it either). It's all good :)

Costs on this is a bit low in the game. Stock schools are $160/wk for 300 students ($0.53/student/wk). This is only $80 for 800 students ($0.10/student/week). Power is about 5x to 6x less then stock power requirements and water is also about 6x less than normal balance. I'd suggest quadrupling the power/water requirement and boosting the maintenance cost to $300/wk.

The in-game description does not mention that it serves the purpose of an elementary school.
It fills an extremely useful niche since there are very few mid-sized elementary schools.

In Brazil, schools usually have 4-hour shifts, and high school may have until at night. (Google translator)

You base your builds off of Hong Kong? Lol a lot of your builds are very similar to something I'd see in poorer Southwest America. I can't imagine school hours that long lol, in America schools are only 7 hours.

Love it! My cities will finally get some more variation in schools instead of 5-10 of the exact same buildings all over :P
