I forgot to update the version index. It still works fine with 1.6
SirPhoenixBlood 13 Jul @ 4:40am
going to try and edit the file to just add in the 1.6 and see if this mod works

In the case that one should dis-assemble the AI uplift assistant i seem to recall the personality core being returned to storage - but I'm noticing that the personality core is destroyed if you disassemble the AI assistant? Can anyone else confirm that behavior? Or is there a way to detach the personality core from the uplift housing/interface?

good mod
Albion  [author] 28 Feb, 2020 @ 11:18am
I uploaded the new version of the mod. It should be 1.0 and 1.1 compatible now.
Enjoy.
Albion  [author] 28 Feb, 2020 @ 10:09am
I'll have to double check. I reverted back to the old version for now. It should be 1.1 compatible already anyway, even if it doesn't have the tag.
ObsceneNickname 28 Feb, 2020 @ 9:49am
Hello, thanks for your amazing mods. Anyway your last update to this mod throws me red errors in 1.0
Nyoj 26 Feb, 2020 @ 11:47am
Great !!! Take your time, just wondering because with so many old mods need to see what to keep around and what to try to find substitutes for.
Albion  [author] 26 Feb, 2020 @ 11:25am
Technically the mod should already be 1.1 compatible. I just didn't upload it yet with the new tag.
I'll get around to it over the weekend when I update my other mods too.
Nyoj 26 Feb, 2020 @ 10:43am
Are you planing to update this to 1.1?
Albion  [author] 24 Nov, 2019 @ 10:08pm
No, sorry. The bonus is fixed.
Albion  [author] 11 Sep, 2019 @ 10:21am
The AI assistant is linkable to as many benches as you want but only 1 per bench, never more.
Mistletoe The Bard 11 Sep, 2019 @ 9:31am
I took the risk and went for an AI core early game and it was worth. How many of these can I link to 1 bench, can it link to more than 1 bench? Also, may you increase the link rank of this thing, instead of being the same as the multi-analyzer? There is another mod call Tech Raiding which added similar stuff and the author is well awared of this space issue and increased the linkable range. Otherwise, we will always have to build a rather "wide" hospital to put multi-analyzer and this thing on each side of the hi-tech research bench.
Albion  [author] 18 Aug, 2019 @ 10:17pm
You can find it in the "misc" tab exactly like the multianalyzer.

Added this mod to an existing save but don't see it in any of the build menus?
Albion  [author] 17 Aug, 2019 @ 10:57pm
Yes, you can add the mod to an existing savegame
John ☺ 17 Aug, 2019 @ 5:46pm
Save compatible?
give me games on GoG 9 Aug, 2019 @ 5:24pm
Very cool looking mod . Thanks and have a nice day.

No incompatibilities
Natalo77 9 Feb, 2019 @ 8:25am
Any hard incompatibilities?
timsteele 3 Nov, 2018 @ 8:31pm
If you have to research a million things , this is a must .
timsteele 18 Oct, 2018 @ 6:21am
Thanks.
Albion  [author] 18 Oct, 2018 @ 1:03am
Yeah guys, I forgot to change the version number and re-upload it.
The mod is fully compatible with both B19 and 1.0
Enjoy the mod.
timsteele 17 Oct, 2018 @ 5:40pm
UPDATE < UPDATE < UPDATE , thanks this is a must .
Modraneth 17 Oct, 2018 @ 3:27pm
1.0 version soon? :D
Albion  [author] 28 Aug, 2018 @ 7:57am
I just updated this mod to B19. Enjoy.
Albion  [author] 10 Jun, 2018 @ 12:17am
You might need to change the load order of your mods. Move this mod further up the list closer to core and it should work.
m11kire 9 Jun, 2018 @ 1:17am
so, how exactly do i place this thing? i brought one along via prepare carefully and all my attempts to install it just get me a red shadow and a 'cannot be supported by terrain'
nephilimnexus 10 May, 2018 @ 9:11am
Just yesterday I was thinking that someone should make exactly this mod, and today I stumble up on it. Awesome!
ExoticButts 2 May, 2018 @ 8:02am
Ah, I see. I figured that was most likely the case, especially since it was far preferable over having to redo my load order again. I'll just devmode myself the core whenever I deconstruct the uplift assistant from now on, thankyou :)
Albion  [author] 1 May, 2018 @ 11:57pm
It's not technically intended but yes this is correct.
The game only gives you back part of the resources used for construction rounded down. Less than 1 rounded down is 0 so you get no AI cores back unfortunately.
If you ever deconstruct the ship computer core you might notice the same issue.
ExoticButts 1 May, 2018 @ 5:20pm
I've found that the uplift assistant, when deconstructed, doesn't yield the AI core. Is this intentional, by any chance? If not then I've got some modlist debugging to do XD

The idea looks interesting, reminded me a lots of SF stories they have some useful AI buddy(on the suit or in the mainframe kind of rooms) that provide assists, this mod only supports the research though, otherwise I think some multi-block systemed AI in the base will be a neat endgame stuff and helpful open game helper, it will provide all sorts of bonues and do some debuff(jamming) to enemies, I'm not sure if debuff is possible, but scalable bonuses for your colony is pretty enough if you are willing to sink tons of resources to build it, make a room that is cold enough for it, and produce power to exchange some longterm benefits:summerghost:
Sir Luis 6 Feb, 2018 @ 10:09am
the game needs more research n tech
得之我幸失之我命 12 Dec, 2017 @ 5:25am
感谢很有用
Albion  [author] 12 Dec, 2017 @ 3:17am
Yes it is quite cheaty but it is mostly intended for tribal colonies to get a friendly AI to help uplift them to advanced research and eventually into space. I wanted to increase the technology level of the colony from neolithic to industrial but it was way easier to just give the 100% research boost which does the same.
If you want to use it for non-tribal colonies that's okay but not originally intended.
I had the idea of making a whole event around it like a quest to find it similar to the ship quest.
However that takes quite some time to code which I don't have right now so unless someone wants to help me this simplified version is the only available option.
Albion  [author] 11 Dec, 2017 @ 11:56am
Turns out I fucked up. I forgot to add the Uplift assistant to the list of linkable facilities on the research bench.
It's fixed now and I uploaded the new version. Enjoy your (now working) research enhancer.
Zoe, the Bad Wolf 11 Dec, 2017 @ 11:32am
It doesn't happen to other Research Assit buildings, I tried one by one and yours kept Inactive.
Albion  [author] 11 Dec, 2017 @ 11:18am
I think it's because the research bench is not used right at that moment. I'll investigate and get back to you.
Zoe, the Bad Wolf 11 Dec, 2017 @ 9:15am
Both in the image and in my game, the bonus says Inactive. Why so?
Albion  [author] 10 Dec, 2017 @ 3:51pm
Very true. However AI cores are quest rewards too and I think the exotic goods trader still sells them. They are just not available as a drop from the psychic ship anymore.
If you are concerned about the rarity of persona cores I would like to direct you to my other mod 'Sparkling Worlds' which gives the possibility to craft AI persona cores.
Garr Incorporated 10 Dec, 2017 @ 3:09pm
Seeing the current rarity of persona cores, such change will double the chance to get this device. I'm not sure if it its necessary, though...
Albion  [author] 10 Dec, 2017 @ 2:30pm
In the current version no.
However I can make an update to include this.
Garr Incorporated 10 Dec, 2017 @ 1:47pm
Is it able to spawn as a request reward?
