The branch is indeed the same as the one from Riviera Line in the 50's, however this route is much smaller than that route as I have deleted the tiles for everything beyond Newton Abbot. This makes the route run much better for those, like myself who run lower-specification setups.
Much like my Haggerleases branch route (Taken from Weardale & Teesdale) it will also form a blank-canvas for many modifications and adjustments to make it even more realistic!
So, in short YES, this route is taken from Riviera Line in the 50's, but will appear separately in-game and (should!) run much better due it's much reduced overall size.
I hopw people will enjoy this lesser-explored part of the route, and I look forward to seeing scenarios for it!
