This new mod of officers is more corrected and compatible, ---} https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1808648615 . which will allow to avoid errors. This will avoid departure with the sebidee mods, but the impressive animation of the banners is very lacking, just like texture updates, emblem definition and diversity for the SFO variant

if animations are not possible, could you still do an update for the static standards. statics are still better than none....

Would Patreon support help? But also if the animations are the reason for the issues, I wouldn't mind if you threw out the animation idea in favour of making banners for all the factions that need banners. I know someone managed to make standard bearers for Bretonnia so you could collaborate ?

"A ton of work for such a little thing", that sums up the reason this mod is not updated, at least yet.

Furthermore, animations are no longer as easy to import, and cause compatibility issues. All in all, it's a huge headache for a tiny thing. While we are still looking into ways of doing this, it's just too much trouble for what it's worth

I've been holding out for this mod for a long time now, and it looks like the author may have moved on to other things. That's just a hunch, though. I've no idea, to be honest. Damn shame if so, because it really showed promise. A ton of work for such a little thing, but that little thing woul've added a lot for me personally. Ultimately, they're doing a lot of work for free, so. Eh.

In old Total War games they had this vanilla. I would always remove the floating banners in the settings menu. Was very upset that they didn't do this with Warhammer. Unfortunatley this mod seems dead.

im optimistic this great Work and Idea will be available for all Factions some Day (im not in Empire but i love Orcs)

Maybe one day this mod might happen.

That being said, they canned the version of Warhammer Fantasy we all enjoyed, so yeah, no. Fuck 'em. It baffles me that they'd take away something that wasn't selling well, only to gimp features it used to offer from an adequate replacement video game version. So I hope what Axlegolas said isn't true. It doesn't make sense, from a customer's point of view.

My cynical nature tells me that it's because they don't want the video game to COMPLETELY replace what the tabletop offers us. It's already a solid representation of the game world, one which is a far cheaper alternative to collecting an army of miniatures. I'm no businessman, but it'd be pretty stupid of them to enable a direct competitor to replace their own product like that.

But it sucks major balls for those of us who just want to play the best games possible set in the universes we love.
