maybe i didnt read correctly but im assuming as you fight the higher Tier advent generals is there upgraded versions of his golden pistol or is it only one version doing 4-7 damage?

I've always thought that one should be able to skulljack a general unit to complete the campaign objective because, after all, a general is an officer. I think this would be a good mod to add that property to the general unit, if you're interested.

One problem I would like to address is the fact that the general can return fire after being successfully mined with the skulljack. Shouldn't they just die outright? And if they're skullmined when stunned or frozen, the pistol fire animation freezes up and it forces me either quit the game or reload my save.

Why on earth you would refuse your mod to be made compatible with Enhanced Ragdoll Physics is beyond me but whatever

i like this mod, the ADVENT General looks like he could work for COBRA. I love it. The gold pistol is the sort of lethal bling that the game really needs.

Just this on it's own, it really isn't, it could be if your drastically modding other aspects of the game which would make the entire game more difficult.

It would be great if the general would always be with an entourage from this mod. Need a little bit of one Honor Guard ponerfit for 1 force level. Although, this is not necessary — you can just balance the amount. On 1 force level 1 defender, on 5 FL -2, etc.

I've been scouring all the configs, but I can't find any way to edit the actual Golden Pistol value. I find the ~200 supplies that you can sell it for at the Black Market to be too high.

The pistol is the only useable weapon, you could use WSR or Xskin if you know the template name of the sword.

I have been looking for a way to get the sword the honor guard use for my stormrider but so far no luck. I assume only the pistol can be looted?

As many people had said before me, would LOVE to have these as a cosmetic.

More of a curiosity, why is this pistol classed as mag instead of beam while sharing stats with beam. In vanilla, this just impacts which breakthrough boosts its damage, but any mod using tech level to scale effects is also impacted (such as a number of RPGO perks)

I can't seem to find where I can edit the dmg of the golden gun because it falls off with a couple other mods I have atm.
The one in the XComAGData hasn't affected the actual game at all sadly.

@octop1 the fire autopistol ability is tied to the templar itself, not the gun for some reason. If you download iridar's pistol overhaul, then you'll be free to use either pistols or autopistols on your templar without any bugs

With the help of the default game config I made templars able to equip pistols now, your golden advent pistol among them, but now he can only do pistol overwatch not fire pistol at a target directly, do you know if this is hardcoded for templar to be only able to fire autopistol? I know that he uses pistol overwatch from the sniper regulary also with autopistol but his regular shot is another ability.

Is it possible to make the golden pistol classified as "autopistol" via config? Cause I think the golden pistol would look badass on my champion templar.

i have not experienced this thing before, and have not gotten any reports like this either.. i am guessing you have another mod that causes the crash.. can be anything from map mods to .. well.. whatever
