does anyone have any issue with this mod recently? I noticed that the HUD plays up a bit not showing actions and such.

I don't know if its the codex portion of the mod or if its the sponsor portion but you went overboard. I played Xcom foundation about 2 or 3 years back, and I liked it. The original gave a little leverage over the game but not too much. Just tried playing XCOM federation and I didn't get past move five before having to turn the game off. You messed with everything where the game has an entirely different feel to it. Not a good feeling either. You start with so much stuff that I can't see a challenge at all. All the buttons are in different places; there are several options where usually there would only be a couple or a few. The fun is sucked out of the game with this mod. I can't see any uniformity or consistency to it.

Bring back just the original foundation of the XCOM Sponsor. It is way better than this Crap.

Thank you for your explanation. :-) I have played the this unfinished XCOM sponsor many times with AI. And every time, they showed off high affinity level. Since the affinity experience increases in CODEX mod tend to be snow bowling, I will take additional penalty measures.

The Genesis Corporation and the Sha'Yuri Clan both also still come with downsides, I just removed the ones from the other sponsors because they didn't feel natural or logical.

This one I think is rather fitting, and in my opinion very much needed to counter-balance the really strong affinity bonuses, so I personally would keep it as it is. ;)

THX. And to answer your question - the drawback was the element XCOM had in the original mod. But now that the drawbacks are not so smoothly applied - I am devising a new method. :-)
