could be the game itself. I had troubles to make funiculars work in RHD, as it turned out they also flip lanes line cars on RHD/LHD

It's RHD. I just found a solution with the help of a redditor. I connected the node points between the main and the station track with TM:PE's lane connector feature to force the cars to stay in the right lane. Works like a charm now, but still don't know what is causing this bug..

Whats the lane type of your city in general ? RHD or LHD

Thanks for the answer! I did, even with Advanced Stop Enabler the cars switch lanes at the node between the station track and the main track and only use one lane of the bi-directional. I guess some mod I subscribed to is either broken or breaks this mechanic. I'll let you know if I find a solution!

Hey REV0, thanks for this awesome collection! I really enjoy the look of this in my city :) I just have a little issue with setting up the bi-directional tracks. The funicular cars seem to use only one side of the bi-directional tracks, depending in what direction it is built. Do you have an idea what could be causing this?

yes, and you cant make contre-balance system where mid way there's a pocket on which both funiculars meet. Since it's not possible to achieve this, I didnt make single lane funiculars.

Can you make single-track version? Double-track funicular system is a little bit awkward. You know, most of funicular system use single track, isn't it?

@REV0 I am looking at the description above and there is no word on any extra steps needed or the mention of AVO. I checked other asset descriptions as well, and only when i realized the game slowed all train connections that I came back for a second read, nothing in description or in the link for the guide; I had to find a random comment under a random asset who experienced the same issue to which you replied something like "Maybe you need to use AVO or it's called something like that" - unsure and vague, so having found that mentioned in only one place, in the comment section, I realized many users would experience the same in lack of proper description. I did not go to an individual asset as there are like 3 dozen, I subscribed to some asset pack by you, the asset description of which does not mention it. You could have taken this feedback as a way to improve and think "oh shit, I should mention it in each asset description" instead of being so defensive.

LOVE THIS! Hong Kong has a funicular line at its Victoria Peak, although it is called a 'cable train' there LOL! BTW, if you are not satisfied with the inclination of the terminal station, you elevate the node of the track at the station with Move it to get the inclination you like.

Since you copy pasted the same message in every funicular asset I will do the same. Descriptions of funicular vehicles cleary state that you should disable regional spawning by using Advanced Vehicle Options.

Fact that your train network "is wrecked" is not because of assets, it is because you are incapable of reading a description given to you and accomplish a trivial task.

And as if this is not enough, you are straight lying that you read it. If you have read them, you would have disabled them via AVO and never had this issue to begin with.

Disliked it because simply subscribing to any Funicular asset (vehicles) makes all trains in new/existing savegames to randomly use these slow vehicles on normal train tracks, e.g. in place of external connection trains that the game spawns. This wrecks the whole import/export system as it slows down the whole network automatically, therefore it breaks (this way) the game for ALL users who download it. This fundamental issue is not mentioned in the description or faq link or comments, which is my main problem.

so stations don't recognize old tracks (which is normal because i updated them)

Just did, the station tracks now show up ingame but for some reason loading screen report still says the tracks are missing and the stations still failed to load :l

for some reason you seem to have old stations or old tracks.

Track threads have legacy versions that can be downloaded outside steam. Try with them if it solves the issue.

According loading screen mod, the stations failed to load, but that might be caused by the funicular station tracks, according to loading screen mod the tracks are not found, even though i'm subscribed to them. Unsubbed everything that I added lately, to go back to the conditions when it was still working, but to no avail.

The funicular stations have suddenly disappeared from game (the tracks are still there). I'm subscribed to them but they no longer show up and have diasappeared from my map. Don't know if anyone else experienced this.

Funicular Station (Base/Ground, terminus, flat)
Funicular Station (Hilltop/Summit, terminus, flat)

Hey there. Thanks for the mods :-) I have added your packs to my map and now I ahve funicular trains all over my main rail network and it means all trains go at 10kph or whatever. Do you know how to stop this or ensure that funicular trains only run on funicular tracks from funicular stations? I have only a small amount of train track which is "normal" track with three "normal" stations and a single cargo station ont he same network.

@pensfan044, duquesne will be next, but I'm waiting photos from someone who lives near the area. For Duquesne, you will get "elevator" tracks, that are basically 2-way lanes on a double track, acting independently from each other, stations and vehicle set.
