odd thing, i read a book dedicated to the reiksguard and there wasn't a single mention too the imperial foot. Bit disappointing since i love the idea of dismounted knights acting as elite heavy infantry.

Never used SFO myself hence why no versions for it. I don't want to set any false expectations but if TW3 ends up being lacklustre then TW2 is what I'll be playing for many years yet to come and at some point I'll probs get around to playing SFO.

Your mod is awesome man, the units should be in the game by default tbh. If you ever decide to make a SFO version that will be greatly appreciated as the base units lack a little bit of a kick. You know they just need a lil bit more stats, thats all.

My 'standard' empire armies are based on a core of sword/pole/ranged infantry so I replace one of each with a Reiksguard variant in Franz's personal army. I'm not working on any modding ATM but i'll inevitably get sucked back in sometime after the tools for TW3 are released.

Reiksguard gunners seems to dont care about friendly fires. When I'm battle, they just shoot enemies out even their are allies between them and foes

Not sure, I'd say off the top of my head probably not. Recruitment is tied to multiple things and I think there's a hard requirement for the right faction IIRC.

I'm going to keep them exclusive to the main empire faction for now" and I was wondering, are these units available if for example you confederate, as Golden Order, with Reikland and gain the Castle Reiksguard building ? Reiksguard are supposed to be Franz's personal bodyguard/army. I'm going to keep them exclusive to the main empire faction for now as it doesn't make sense to me that they could be recuited outside of - and potentially fight against - Reikland.

They should benefit from at least the tech/lord skills that specifically reference 'reiksguard'. Possibly some others, been a while since I checked.

Are these units effected by passives and techs that effect their corresponding unit or rieksguard or both or neither? I didnt see it in the comments or patch notes or description and wanted to be sure cause infantry with that kind of charge bonus could get crazy

while they seem powerful they lack any of the special rules of their counterpart elite level infantry like Armour Piercing, Melee expert etc. and the Heavy Infantry units have extremely poor health 4250 HP for 60 soldiers compared to 5400-5600 for Greatswords and regular Halberdiers. Despite heavy armour the health and no special rules makes the heavy Infantry Reiksguard not use able especially against chaos. Gunners are all right though I wish you had added Good Range special rule but thats a personal gripe I suppose.

Hey those are neat. I really should go back and re-do my icons. The screenshots I took must have been during the rain or something, they seem dark and dingy next to the vanilla art.
