Going to ignore the incompatible warning and see if this works with my mod setup on GS - great idea for a mod.
Temida 23 Jul, 2020 @ 11:30am
Does this work?
Polosolo 28 Mar, 2020 @ 6:04pm
It does not seem compatible with GS. Do you plan to make it compatible in the future?
xxx78 24 Feb, 2020 @ 10:36am
Very nice mod, since it is just xml I think i will work. Maybe increase load order just to sure?
Szwag1eR 7 Jan, 2020 @ 6:58pm
Is it working with GS?

I am already trying to make the AI diplomatically more aggressive, but despite of my changes they sometimes have their own mind. So I cannot entirely change the AI, but I wll do my best.
Biscoitoso 16 Aug, 2018 @ 11:02pm
Hi man, can you make AI more agressive? I miss agresive diplomatic behavior in Civ 2 when AI asks for Gold, Resourcers and Even cities.
Olafr_the_Viking 13 Jul, 2018 @ 12:02pm
ok, good, thanks!
Tiramisu  [author] 13 Jul, 2018 @ 12:02pm
I have never tried that mod, but I think it only changes agendas. So it should be compatible with my mod.
Olafr_the_Viking 13 Jul, 2018 @ 11:54am
Is this mod compatible with "Dynamic Diplomacy (Friendship Bonuses Version)"?
Tiramisu  [author] 23 Feb, 2018 @ 4:57am
This modification should be compatible wih Rise & Fall now. Let me know if you have any problems.
Now I have to play rise and fall myself to see if I can make any new diplomatic improvements for the new addon.

Take care of life issues and focus there.. this is only a side thing man.. Peace :steamhappy:
Tiramisu  [author] 11 Feb, 2018 @ 11:53am
I will update this mod, but I have no time for modding before the 20. february because of some real life issues. Sorry.
Rams0505 11 Feb, 2018 @ 2:26am
update for R&F expansion?
DrakEmono 28 Jan, 2018 @ 8:59am
Indeed, was just using the default settings.
Tiramisu  [author] 28 Jan, 2018 @ 6:09am
In my games the AI became more aggressive when I enabled this mod, but maybe it happened only with certain settings. I was playing on difficulties above immortal, using AI+ and one of my mods that reduce warmonger penalties in later eras. It is hard to test how the AI behaves on different settings though.
DrakEmono 26 Jan, 2018 @ 2:12pm
It's strange... I did two long games, I've never got any war, all the opposite, I even got alliance requests... AI doesn't seem that aggressive o.O

Now there is an altered version of this mod that makes no changes to Joint Wars:

@Kumn: Yes, I can do this of course, but it will take about one week until I will be coming home to my gaming PC. Right now I have to work and I only have my crappy notebook available.

@ruiza829: Glad you like it.
Kurnn 10 Jan, 2018 @ 5:53pm
I have a request!

Could you make another mod, which is the same as this, but joint wars isnt moved?
Thanks for a great mod!
ruiza829 10 Jan, 2018 @ 11:12am
I like the spirit of this mod. I think a lot of the complaints about the AI not being friendly/cooperative enough had merit, but I have noticed that they have started to become pushovers so I do welcome this. I just think the worst part about the AI's decision making when it comes to war has been Joint Wars (which this mod does address) and treatment towards Allies, which I have noticed they tend to attack because of Joint Wars. Hopefully they fix this in the upcoming XPack.
Tiramisu  [author] 10 Jan, 2018 @ 8:26am
Well, that is interesting. I wonder if AI+ causes this AI behavior.
alexanderyou 9 Jan, 2018 @ 8:55am
I don't use AI+
Tiramisu  [author] 9 Jan, 2018 @ 8:31am
Ok, maybe your games are different from my games. Do you use any other AI mods? I am using AI+.
alexanderyou 8 Jan, 2018 @ 12:35pm
I've pretty much only seen the AI declare joint wars against me since it reduces warmongering penalties. Literally every single game at least half of the AI will, at some point, declare a joint war on me no matter how friendly.

I'd say moving joint wars later is a buff for humans more than anything, as the AI will be less likely to attack.
Tiramisu  [author] 8 Jan, 2018 @ 11:33am
The reason is that I believe that Joint Wars can be an easy tool for human players to pay the AI a relatively low price to fight another AI. There are situations, when a Joint War benefits the human player much more, but the AI is not intelligent enough to understand that.
Actually I think that I have never seen a Joint War initiated by the AI against me, otherwise I would have kept the Joint War in the Ancient Era.

I moved the Joint Wars in a late Era, because in later Eras it becomes much more important to have a war with a Casus Belli. So you have to decide if it is worth it to make a Joint War instead of a CB war.
Kurnn 7 Jan, 2018 @ 8:08pm
This mod looks interesting, and I really like that you make sure it works with AI+ right away!
I have a question though, why not have joint wars as it is? Why move it? The AI does joint wars too and get the same effects as the player, less warmonger from its ally.
Maxi740 7 Jan, 2018 @ 4:11am
agree with you alexander
Tiramisu  [author] 5 Jan, 2018 @ 6:41pm
Civilizations has never been historically accurate. The main purpose of this mod is just to improve the AI.
Panzerkampfwagen-VI 5 Jan, 2018 @ 6:34pm
better? everything you've changed are historically inaccurate
Tiramisu  [author] 5 Jan, 2018 @ 12:54pm
I put the Joint Wars in a later Era, because I think that the AI is not smart enough to use this feature. It often seemed to me like it benefits human players more.
alexanderyou 5 Jan, 2018 @ 12:48pm
I think moving joint wars that far back is a bit too far, I think it would make more sense to have defensive pacts with defensive tactics (classical era) and have joint war at military training (classical era). That would make it so war mongers would go for military training to get more options, and peaceful people would go for defensive tactics to defend themselves.

Just my 2 cents :P
