2 Main things have been changed:
-The Map name has been changed from KF-Biolpase to KF-BiolapseOriginal, so it should no longer conflict with the TWI version.
-The Tentacle Breach/Tank map has had the layout updated to be a bit more balanced
The map still supports Endless as well, so if you haven't already, check it out!
This should be the final update unless there are any major bugs, but from testing I haven't seen any.
Thanks for all your support over the years.
Congrats mate. Tripwire may think zeds get stuck enough now lol.
this is one of my favorite maps to come from the community and i'm glad its getting the recognition it deserves
I pushed an update today which makes Biolapse compatible with Endless! This makes Biolapse the first Holdout map to natively support Endless, even before Official Maps!
Maps in Endless will be randomly rotated each wave. The Boss Room will always be selected for the Boss Wave. The Lobby is only used in wave 1.
There were also some environmental changes to further optimize the map, check the changelog for further details.
Hope everyone enjoys the update; with all the lights being destructible, hopefully this should be more interesting now in endless. Also GL on Boom Waves lmao.
Biolapse has received a new coat of paint and received a shipment of lightbulbs! The update is a huge visual, gameplay and performance overhaul, in my opinion looks significantly better and provides much better visual eye candy.
A before and after comparison can be found by here: https://imgur.com/a/15ahj82
Additionally the map has been submitted to the #KF2NEWGROUNDS competition. Come show your support here: https://www.moddb.com/games/killing-floor-2/addons/kf-biolapse
As always I appreciate everyone's continued support and hope you enjoy the new changes to the map!
I can still recommend this to try out

You have to understand players playing the map for the first time are briefly exposed to the layout and have to internalize the strategy of the map in their head in a couple of seconds. Then do it 10 different times again, in comparison to traditional maps.
Disvaluing the map because you think it’s too simple is a simplistic way at looking at it. I can't please everyone but I try my best to provide a quality experience for players that you don't see in the majority of custom maps. I would ask you to reconsider your viewpoint and give the map another go with a large team on a harder difficulty –it’s what it was meant for :)
i don't know if the author is still working on it but it can easily become amasing with a few changes, make the map less symetrical, some parts are realy too basic, specialy the one with a simple cube in the middle.
Iit looks realy promissing (if it's till worked on) and professionnaly made.
Good job.
Thanks for everyone's kind words and feedback! I hope everyone has been enjoying the map so far. As usual, if you see anything buggy happen please let me know for investigation, I want to make this map as best I can for you.
