Valves stock models from source either dont work or they vanish about every other time the map is played. Guess valve really wanted to keep their stock stuff separate so they could sale the old game. I had to add in where those were added. The new game also favored higher resolution images so I did upgrade/update those I could.

Im guessing there where issues importing all of the custom model and texture files etc to the csgo editor. If i get the time i will fix it..embed everything to the .BSP and send to you to publish if you would like. Not looking for recognition.... If anything i'm grateful, Tho i'm not the original author it took me many hours over a year to complete because it had to be brushed from scratch so for me to see it published in a more popular newer version means ALOT!

@volcanic the original wasn't from 2010 lol.. Maybe when it was registered on steam's list but I played this map in 1.6 when i was like 12 years old.. i'm 28 now.. maybe 2001?

Ive never played the 1.6 karachi. From youtube video the 1.6 version didn't have truck but a bus at bombsite B. The center area where the plants are doesn't cause the studio to explode like karachi source. I didn't see Sillys pictures or secret area in the 1.6 version. You can walk thought the electric box near CT spawn to access the secrete area in my version. The 1.6 version didn't allow getting under steps like silly's and mine. I didnt see any airplane in the 1.6 version. Silly's has an air plane standing still over A bombsite. Mine has it flying overhead.

Its based on Silly's remake which was a CZ and source map.

Still, this is one of the nicest Middle Eastern city maps I have ever seen, and it's worth a subscription. 3.5/5 +1

This is a well-made remake of a Condition Zero custom map from 2010. The look of this map is incredible when comparing it to the CZ and CSS versions, although there are a few sour spots like an awful texture in T Spawn and a failed, tiny skybox near B. It also needs HDR lighting to bring out the desert sun. I did like the scripted sequences, though, very Nipper-esque.

This map has really interesting gameplay with multiple tiers to explore. In gameplay terms, though, they make Karachi a chaotic mess in high-level play. There's a building between the 2 sites that has tiny AWP spots the defenders will never see coming. There's also a couple pitch-black rooms, and a balcony in B where the bomb can also be planted. The map seems painfully T-sided, as they can reach the second floor instantly and have more coverage on their side. There's even a few spots where Ts can camp on overhangs, and that's awful.

Yes I could make those changes. I need to make a butt load more fixes as this map is gettting a bit old. Should have this map updated by this summer.

I'll add in some trash, stains, and such in the next update. The current version in test on EcG's server has the Mazar-e-Quaid in the skybox. Many more edges to give concrete, brick, and plaster a worn and relistic look. Better sound and performance balanced as well as a few bug fixes.

This is based off silly's condition zero remake. The truck bomb isn't ramdom in this version. Its controled by trigger. The trigger is set off by walking out on the porch of that middle building overlooking bombsite A. The studio explosion is triggered by walking near the plant below that area.

The ladder closest to T-Spawn, you can't climb it if you're all the way against the wall. Maybe move it a slight bit to the right to avoid this problem?

Thanks for the report. I must have left the invis metal off on those 2 awnings. The wood rail will also be looked into. I plan on adding a bit more detailing for increased look and fill in next update.

There a lot of things to fall through that don't seem like you should fall through them. The awnings, there is that wooden railing on one of the terraces that you can walk through...

Fixed the purple texture floors with the missing vtf. Shacks fist at valve for having a stock vmt calling a none stock vtf. :)
