Lwotc has 8 own classes with 3 ability trees and an additional rank. While this Front Soldier class uses pistols, pistols in LW are utility items and perks are available to all soldiers. So I would not use this mod with LWotC. However, I'm thinking about a LW port, but they already have classes that are similar to this one.

Fair enough. I found a tool which I think can help me, so I've started from scratch earlier today, and am hoping that it will take me less time, as I realized that there way more classes that I will need. I hadn't realized that, until I looked in depth at yours. Hopefully I won't have issues by starting from scratch, but it's worth a shot at this point.

You do not have to upload a new mod for this, I would say. Just include the changes in your own mod. Or include the entire mod with modifications in a larger project. But re-uploading with only minor text changes is a little unnecessary in my opinion.

What kind of project and modification are we talking about? If it is possible I would rather include that modification in the project so that we do not need different versions of this mod.

Hello, all the Chinese parts of mod have been changed into "Chinese". After modifying the Chinese file in the configuration file, it doesn't take effect in the game. The Chinese text is displayed as garbled code, but the content of CHN file hasn't changed. I don't know what the problem is

Hallo Nor Dogroth.

Ich spiele deinen Frontschützen immer noch sehr gerne. Aber ich hätte ein Anliegen an dich. Wärst du bereit eine neue Klasse zu machen? Aus meiner Sicht fehlt eine extrem mobile Schadensklasse, quasi eine Glaskanone. Extrem offensiv, aber schwach in der Defensive. Diese Soldatenklasse sollte maximal ein Gewehr tragen könne, primär mit einem SMG ausgestattet sein. Die sekundäre Bewaffnung sollte eine Pistole sein. Diese Soldatenklasse sollte ein regelrechter Wirbelwind auf dem Schlachtfeld sein, spezialisiert auf kurze Distanz und Flankenangriffe. Nahkämpfe mit Gewehrkolbenangriffe wäre genial und die Fähigkeit 2 Gegner in einer Runde mit dem SMG zu attackieren.

You need the XCOM Modbuddy to compile uncreal scripts (.uc). It's available via steam->tools. There is one for vanilla and one for WotC.

casue he use shotgun,he shoot enemy in their face, the hit chance can be 50%, definely can do the gamble to use 1 round for killing a whole boss

Why do you think so? It has only <=50% hit chance and costs 2 action points, that's why I say it's balanced. The 'all in one' ability is stronger in my eyes.

Sounds good. Yes, the reduced speed is for balancing reasons but used well he can be very powerful.

been using this on a soldier with an m-60 LMG with extended mag, and im mighty impressed. once set up it kills pretty much everything that comes in its line of sight. heavy fire ability is especially awesome for getting rid of priority targets. hes kind of slow tough so getting him in place takes a while.

@Skyspirit: any class can now, thanks to Reality's Weapons Training mod. just get that.

want a Specialist with a minigun? a Ranger with a sniper rifle? Sharpshooter with a shotgun? you can do all of that. it works for any class or class mod. it's just new weapon types that don't use ingame archetypes that would have some issues due to having to add them into the mod's purview.

Den Pulsbogen kenne ich nicht. LW2 habe ich ausgelassen. Die Idee klingt aber gut. Wäre was neues in WotC.

Ich glaube, die Scharmützlerwaffen sollte man lieber den Scharmützlern lassen, sonst eignet sich die Klasse nicht als Basisklasse. Eine andere Überlegung meinerseits war, Waffen aus LW zu verwenden wie den Pulsbogen.

@ Nor Dogroth: Genau. Diese Infiltrations-Klasse sollte sehr mobil sein, da die hinterhältigen Angriffe nur gut funktionieren wenn diese Klasse recht nah am Gegner ist. Insofern wäre diese Klasse aufgrund der hohen Mobilität ein idealer Späher, muss aber Einschränkungen hinnehmen hinsichtlich Distanzschaden (je größer der Abstand zu einem Gegner desto weniger Schaden bzw. mehr Fehlschüsse). Dazu kommt erschwerend, dass viele Fähigkeiten dieser Klasse nur im getarnten Zustand aktiviert werden können, wie z.B. spezielle Pistolenschüsse die diese Infiltrationsklasse nicht aufdeckt wenn der Gegner durch diesen Pistolenschuss ausgeschaltet wird. Wäre es möglich das diese Klasse als Waffen eine Pistole und den Angriffshaken des Scharmützlers erhält? Dann bestünde noch die Möglichkeit die Mobilität zu erhöhen bzw. im Nahkampf mit dem Haken zu meucheln. Diese Klasse könnte dann eine spezielle Gruppierung der Scharmützler sein. Sorry...meine Ideen gehen mit mir durch :-)
