To all you people getting crashes, bot nav problems, etc... Download my fix by Gamebanana(dot)com, I did include it in the description but Steam does not allow URL's in the description. Find it by:
1.Search de_nuke_night gamebanana in Google
2.Enter my Gamebanana post and download it there.

This map crashes my linux dedicated server constantly!

I have to take it out of the map rotation for now. There are no error messages in server log, but ingame it crashes while "Finding encounter spots..." is running. Hope this helps...

Some people are complaining in the comments about how nothing was added to the map to give it a more ambient lighting feel, saying you just turned on the light fixtures that were already there. Don't listen to them, they are stupid and forgetting the name of the map. It's a nuclear plant in Germany, why would there be barrels on fire there? It supposed to be a relatively official place, y'know with all the nuclear stuff and science stuff that is theoretically happening within the world. Ignore the haters, and continue to make map mods.

The only kosyak is smoke particles too bright. you should re-paint them for night time.

Ok, my thoughts on this is that it is dark. The leader, the one who started the Night maps, added fire everywhere and added things to be lit on fire (Trust me, I have compared). You my friend, did not do the same for your night maps. He also went out of the way to add a select few light fixtures that were not there before. All you did was change it to night and turn on the light fixtures already in place. I gave a thumbs down, maybe if we see improvements I will revisit this map. (By the way this was Nuke III, I guess you could say, or Nuke II Night)

You are not compiling with the whole map being rendered by hammer at the time, or you decompiled it poorly. To fix this first thing select Map Settings, which will select the full map, move your camera a bit and you'll notice the whole map is visible regardless of the draw distance. Then try compiling again

Thought I'd try this one last time, same problem though. Would say "sampling walking space" or something like that, then "finding encounter spots" stuff like that, audio stuck looping, still had to ctrl/alt/del out of it. This is the only mod I've had a problem with, and the game has low settings which my computer handles 'very' comfortabley. Hope you can fix it, but I'm done with it for a while. This is due to navigation file not working. As workshop won't let me upload them, I'll upload them separatedly in mediafire, with the minimap.

This is the first map that froze up that I've used. Not sure why since I very comfotably meet the games requirements- it was fine until I chose a side then froze making a weird sound like audio stuck repeating in one place and I had to ctrl alt del out of that program. Not sure what changed in this map from the original other than night time (I have never had a problem with this game or a mod for it previously). Selected offline/bots, classic casual. :csgoct:

I love it. It needs a minimap and a nav file, though. Can't you just use the original Nav? And tint the original minimap dark blue?

It did make it night ok. I had already tried un/resubscribing and it did the same thing. Today I waited it out and let it finish its thing and then the map reloaded and seemed to work fine after. I then quit the match and created another one with the same night map and it seems to be fine now.

For your reference, I took two screenies. Seems like it failed to originally fetch 'downloads/lab72a88.dat'
Not sure if that file has anything to do with bot navigation.

Solution: Waited it out, as slow as it was.

It's building the navigation file for the bots to work. It's supposed to be in the download already! Try unsubscribing and subscribing again. If the problem persists, make a copy of your de_nuke.nav file and rename that copy to de_nuke_night.nav
The map is exactly the same. Only the environment, textures... are changed.

I have an issue with this map, can't seem to find anyone else with similar issue. When I load it in "Offline with bots" to check it out, it starts sampling something (which i have never seen before an any other custom map) and the game just crawls slower than a frozen snail. Once I bring up console to type disconnect, then my game returns to normal.

What is it doing at the start and how can I stop it?

I think adding the B stairwell change and the no-crawl vent change would make this even better. Also I think the mini-map might be bugged. Other than that I liked it, I wonder what other night versions of the classic cs stages would look cool, perhaps a night version of Vertigo with a brightly lit cityscape of building windows in the background? ^.^
