I was thinking how much I would love an EDF squad in my game. Now I can, thank you very much! I love the EDF voice acting!

How does one rip these sound files from this game? I'm just interested in doing voice packs generally.

@The_Hoff779 Hmm, as of right now, no, the WoTC SDK doesn't seem to make reverse compatible mods. I'll see if loading and recompiliing it in the vanilla SDK is trivial, but if it isn't, vanilla compatibility will probably get put on the backburner.

@paul if you mean the faction classes, then not out of the box. Supposedly with a minor ini tweak to XComContent.ini you can, but I haven't confirmed that.

@($S360)Aeronautic Wing Divers are planned, along with a few more soldier variations. Next update will be getting as close as I can to the XCOM radio effect, and then Wing Divers (+ more rangers) after that. TBH I'm a bit worried, I have the Wing Diver lines, there just isn't nearly as much variety as there are for the male voices. At best there will probably only be Wing Divers, no Wing Diver Squad Leader.

@dijzomdjinn I see you are a person of culture as as well. Lets just say EDF is an underrated diamond in the rough for me. A diamond that is riddled with freakin bugs (literally). Seeing this in XCOM no doubt made my heart flutter. So it didnt go under the radar for me. Thanks again fellow EDF friend.

PS I apologize if it isnt mentioned in the description but does the voices include the Wing Divers too? If not I actually have voicelines for the Wing Divers. If you want em give me a shout!

eh, i kinda see the EDF as "US-specifc XCOM" ;) whereas XCOM's the UN-funded one. kinda like there was a splitoff when they re-initiated the project (as the original XCOM, per the Bureau, was founded back in the late 50s/early 60s to kick the ass of the Outsider invasion)
