I did the tests in custom battles against elves and dark elves and your Reiksguard halberdiers DESTROY both the Phoenix Guard and the Black Guard of Naggarond.

does these mods work with legendary lords added like "swords of the empire" or "mixus legendary lord"??? i know some unit mods dont work in the sense that the new lords skills dosnt effect the new units which makes them weaker in most cases than the base game units.

hello i love your mod one of the ones that finally gives the empire worthwhile infantry but i do believe this needs to be updated because as it seems the reiksforts no longer seem to be a feature of the base game so i usually have a hard time figuring out how to find them just thought it text this out

Love your mods, but 2 suggestions/remarks

1. I get it that the Reiksguard is equipped with the best weapons available, but with
Weapon Strength: 49 (16 normal + 33 AP + Bonus vs. Large 25)
they are more powerful than Phoenix Guard and Chosen of Chaos. I understand that they are Elites, but they are still normal Humans. Staying in line with the +7 Damage increase of sword and shield Reiksguard maybe
Weapon Strength: 35 (10 normal + 25 AP + Bonus vs. Large 20)
would reflect this better?

2. Isn´t 120 men in one unit a bit too much for a Human Elite Unit?

I love this mod! I just would like the unit to have charge defence against all, to be more in line with empire's traditional halbardiers. Not only for consistency but because it makes sense: they are after all a better equipped and disciplined version of the halbardiers. I would even trade some MD or MA for it.
I don't know what you think about it.

Hey Kelain, that is because so far only Reikland has access to this unit. It seems to me like only Reikland can build Reiksforts and recruit the regular Reiksguard unit. But so far i haven't really had time to play the new campaigns for more than a few turns so i'm not sure yet. I will however work on a solution to allow the other playable empire factions to recruit these units once i'm done updating everything.

Hey Nox - I was playing as the Golden Order, and then confederated Reikland once Altdorf was already fully built out by the AI. The AI Reikland had recruited several RHKs, but only Reikland - no other Empire factions. Thanks for the update!

Hey Kelain, i just updated them to support the new changes introduced by the september update so this might solve some issues.

Regarding your specific issue, do you play as Reikland (The Empire) or another Empire faction like The Golden Order or the Huntmarshal's Expedition?

Hey there! Just to let you know that as of the September update, the units can *appear* in the game (the AI can train them) but it doesn't seem to be possible to train them from Castle Reiksfort as the player. I just have the ones I got when they confederated with me! :P

UHm mate, tried to edit the weapon damage of both this mod and the Greatsword unit but I get an error trying to decode the DB Table. Idk what could cause that but it makes it impossible to edit these units if you are like me and play this with overhaul mods.

These units are great! I have a request though, can you please change their melee defence? Their defence is way lesser when compared to elite units..

Hi CL4P-TP,
while i will not add capes to my existing mods, i do well understand that there are people who would like to see them with capes. Therefore once i've released a combined all-in-one mod containing all units, i plan to make a version of this mod with capes on all units. It also should in theory be interchangeable with all standalone units and shouldn't break any savegames if you decide to switch to it.

Okay, they do have increased melee defense aswell as more hp fow now which allows them to survive significantly longer. Especially if they're up against other melees as long as they aren't anti infantry units. Their performance should be pretty similar to black guard and phoenix guard now. However I'll run more tests to determine if further adjustmens are necessary but at least it should be way better now :)

Hey Anri, i'll have another look at their survivability. I did try to not overpower them and maybe they did end up a bit too squishy. I just did some more skirmishes myself and they could indeed do with a little more durability i guess.

Tested out a few skirmishes against black guard of naggarond or phoenix guard and these poor reiksguard do not stand a chance...even a high ground charge makes no difference :KneelingBow:

btw, I have noticed for a 120x unit 7560hp for such a high tier infantry is very low, kind of sad seeing them fall to low tier units, although I understand they have a very good armor of 120, still units like vanilla greatswords have 9120hp, they deserve to be a bit more tanky !
