Updated - 23.01.2021:

- slightly more balanced bonuses per rank
- increased exp requirements for each rank by 10%
- overall stronger veterans then in base Radious mod, but not over the top anymore in some cases

Really enjoying this mod so far, alongside the ROR rebalance mod. I do have a question though, is there a way we could see a comparison between your veteran changes and the normal Radious values? I'm curious just how much they are tweaked.

Also, how largely does this affect auto-resolve battles? I've had some T5 high experienced armies go up against the same Chaos counterparts in like 3v1 battles, being highly outnumbered and outgunned, but the auto-resolve was waaaaaaaaaayy in my favor. However, if I fight the battles manually, they seem to be a bit more balanced and even when I win, it's not like I unrealistically steamrolled a massive chaos horde that was also full of T4 and T5 units lol. However, if I was to auto-resolve all of my battles, I would just utterly wreck dozens of hordes with one army.

Doesn't seem like it makes sense but I'm just curious. I don't have anything else that would affect units balances and auto-resolves. Thanks!

One thing I always found regretable was that with this mod regiments of renown are practically worthless since they cant level. Does anyone know a good up to date mod that can fix that thats compatible with this or if radious will add that to this mod?

The accuracy of the units and their reload speed is already getting increased by greater amounts than the base Radious Overhaul (the extra increase makes it comparable to vanilla levels). However, I can add in a small increase in missile dps as well if that's something people want (melee damage is not increased as such, only melee attack and defence which respectively increase and decrease the chance of hitting and getting hit)

Hey, I noticed that the melee stats are increased by a ton, but missile dps is still being increased with veterancy just as it is in vannila.
Would it be possible to also increase the scalling of that? It could also make sense in a way that, unlike in vannila where it increases missile damage, it could just increase reload skill.

Is there a possibility of making like version of this mod with 1/2 effectiveness?
Cuz sometimes it causes stuff like one AI army gets fast lvl 7+ units and starts to annihilate the map.
I just had a game with Morati having whole Ultian conquered on turn 35.
Plus, imao, the numbers for the stats are little too big, which sometimes makes receiveng new units not useless, but can drop down army power, while you actually swap t1 to t5.

Was just a curiosity I noticed, making them equal makes sense to me, but since this is a submod for radious it makes sense to maintain those changes. I was able to make a copy and tweak it in PFM for my personal use though, just copied the values for MA and pasted them over the ones for MD :P

Oh I see, went and checked the base radious mod. Apparently i'd have to ask whoever made that particular change in the base mod about it. The vanilla values in CA's data.pack have MA and MD scale the same.

The normal defence bonus is also higher than the attack bonus, this only increases it proportionally

is there any reason you made melee defense scale way better than melee attack?? it seems a bit weird for high rank slayers for instance to be better at defending than they are at attacking

Hi. Its possible to add a passive xp gain to the AI? This way they dont fall behind too much. Not crazy lvls just a bit to help them out.

How do I know the mod is working as intended? I feel like the base unit's (like a skeleton warrior) melee attack and defense go up by like 1 and 2 points respectively each chevron in the campaign and in custom battles. Is that right or is the mod not working with my current setup? Thank you in advance for your answer and thank you for the work you are doing to make the game fun!

It does not boost unit xp gain or the pace at which they gain levels, but instead it makes the bonuses they receive upon level up stronger, making them far more effective than vanilla units with the same amount of chevrons

Does this boost XP gain for the AI's units at all? I've only seen them field a handful of gold units about 100 turns in. Feels like there should be a few more.

Playing the vampire campaign, the regiments of renown seems not impacted.
