Also, I should mention that I never had a real plan when I started this map.. only that I wanted a house, one team spawn inside it and one outside. That's it, basically.

@Official VärmeElement, I made it myself years ago (2013!), had never made a map in CSGO before (or since). Watched nearly all tutorials 3kliksphilip made on youtube. If I remember correctly, some stuff on the house such as the windows, pillars aaaand roof(?) are objects you can just add in hammer... the rest was made by me. I'm still surprised people are commenting/playing on this map. Glad someone likes it! :)

Bots play not real (on hard level), like kill-mashins. Very stupid play on this maps, no interested. (((

Ah, now when you mention it... I think the "safehouse" map is actually called "de_house" in the SDK (and that's the house I looked at to improve my own)... which is confusing, I know. ;) The windows are called "windowframe_54x76.mdl" and "windowcluster.mdl" (the ones that are brown on one side and green on the other). Then I used different versions of "window_54x76.mdl" to get the actual breakable window. Oh, and thanks!

The window ones in particular, because when i was browsing the model viewer i seen models for some basic windows under /models/de_house.
So just curious, Im basically just using l4d2 props here and there, and its a pain to manually zip them in the bsp, but its the only way i know of giving people the models withought a http link. I do appreciate the time you took to answer, thanks!

Sorry mate but I'm not using any custom models. I could find them all in the SDK... I'm curious, though, what models do you think are custom?

Hey can i ask how you packed your custom models into your map?
Did you use pakrak, or is there a easier way for bleep sakes?
Its a pain in the A to manually zip custom models into my bsps.

A nice CQB map. A bit unfair putting the CTs in the house though. Once they hit the overwatch positions, they can dominate the front yard. Thanks for the fun map. Thumbs up.

A cs_ version would be just fine, if you can't make it 2 hostages only, then just put the 4 of them where you can tell all of them to follow you whitout blocking issues.

And please, look into fixing the upper floor, now T's can get in position before CT's can even get to the right side of the wall, when me and friends were playing the old version, we liked the idea of choosing between rushing the left or right side of the house, now you can't make it alive to the stairs behind the terrace.

I think there are only 5-6 workings spawnpoints for T. CT is at least 12, haven't tried more bots...

First of all, thank you all for actually trying my map! I didn't think someone would even leave a comment when I first uploaded it.. This is what motivates me to keep working on it. Thanks!

@Thiba: Totally agree. I'm still working on it.
@Henke: Sure, will do. I thought 16 per side would be enough but some of them might not be working? I'll look into it.
@SMX87: I put it there because I thought it would be cool. Have no idea how it affects gameplay because I have only played the map with bots... ;)
@RVN carapaint SPANKER: Hm, yeah. I'll look into it but I have no idea how to do that as of now (or do you just want me to upload a cs_ version of the map once I'm done?)

It would be nice if we could play both the defuse version and the hostage version, but for hostage version, could it be only 2 hostages? you get blocked between hostages too often and telling 4 dudes to follow you it's just too much time for a map this small.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback so far. I've decided to upload the current version of the map just to see what you think of the new house. Also, I decided to make it a defuse map because, in my opinion, thats just more fun to play. Hostages are just too clumsy... Let me know if you'd rather play it as a hostage map, though.
