For those who do not have reikalnd and huntsmarshal not trading.. are you using any other mods that affect startpos? I double checked and it works fine my end. You may have a mod that is not giving them sea access on turn 1!

On ME map, Sudenburg cannot trade by sea route. The patch of water it is attached to is not connected to the other ports.

Its working for me. I dont have that problem.
Only thing Id like to ask is are the factions already supposed to like be available to do other negotiations? Im trading with em but cant do anything else do to them not being I guess discovered on the map. Was this intentional?

@thesniperdevil I just re-checked the mod, it didn't work for me. My Reikland doesn't trade or have any connection with Huntsmarshal expedition.

I've not re-uploaded this to tag it as up to date for Rakarth, but it's such a simple script it should still work.

Can you also make it so all those factions start with diplomatic relations? It's a really simple script, here is an example for Lizardmen:

I've tweaked myself your mod with some more initial traderoute to reflect marine network trading route of the old world by adding Barak Varr for a "triangle" between Tilea/Marienburg/Barak Varr, and also I added a trade between Sartosa and Tilea (so they are initially at war AND with trade, reflecting some kind of smuggling between inland Tilean City States and isle of Sartosa which is part of Tilean City States with a huge pirate activity) ; but finally i had to remove your mod from my playlist, sadly the script conflict with OvN Lost Faction.

Thanks for the refining tips. so this is what the next update will have:

1. Empire + Marienburg will trade with Huntsmarshal expedition. (they are the key sponsors of this enterprise)
2. Tilea & Estalia trade with new world colonies - largely an enterprise funded by them
3. Lyonesse funds repanse.
4. Couronne funds all crusades.

Sudenburg cannot trade on turn 1 ME.
All other factions - I feel should get trade routes negotiated as part of the game.

May be you could affine your purpose :
- NWC trade with Estalia and Tilea (former countries which they are from)
- Border princes with nothing (they are more "inlanders" than a mariner faction)
- Empire trade with Markus and Sudenburg (former imperial colony).
- Marienburg could be at start with trade with Empire and his colonies (so with Altdorf and Sudenburg), and with Kislev and Tilea (as "center" of the old world marine trade).
- Bretonnia (Couronne) with Thegans Crusade, Knights of the Flame, Knights of Origo, and Chevalier de Lyonesse (supporting all bretonnian crusades), and with Bregonne if added by mod.
- Bretonnia (Lyonesse) with Chevalier de Lyonesse (supporting his own host).
- Bretonnia (Bordeleaux) with nothing (as mariner, his more a defender than a trader).
- Bretonnia (Carcassonne) with Bregonne if added by mod.

Also, other suggestion, add in a way those traderoute to Vortex map (i dont know if thats possible, may be by adding some "invisible faction" or something).

My bad, turns out the Mod is updated. All one needs to use is KMM. (Very easy to use and fixes a ton of bugs) This mod is mandatory right now because of how badly human factions get steamrolled.

would really appreciate it if you could update this bro, all factions involved need the buff badly. Just update it as you would normally and try running it with KMM, it should work. Everyone uses KMM now, the normal launcher is broken for at least 50% of the mods. KMM is also really easy to use.

Updated! Bordeleux now also trades with the colonies. I also randomly found some stray code that may have caused the crashes. Its gone now though!
Finally the newly added sudenburg to ME is not connected to the sea - so I can't add it to trade routes :(

Hmm - my assumption is that a crash would occur if one of your mods is impacting the factions included (either removing them or denying them access to the sea). Perhaps one of your other mods had an update that now puts it into conflict with this? I assume overhaul - but that is not necessarily the case.

I would hazzard a guess at sfo, but I used this mod before the norsca update with sfo, in multiple campaigns so dont know why its just crashing now.

Hey Commodus, could you let me know what other mods you use, even better the specific mod this conflicts with? I am unable to recreate the crash - and this is a super light mod so shouldn't crash at all (unless when used with a massive overhaul mod...)

I cant believe that this little mod is the cause of all my crashing, after much testing and fiddling it is!

it never used to cause any crashing, and ive used this mod for ages, very thematic when playing as the empire or bret:)

Hey Auphilia - my hope is that crashes from this script should cease now. (The issues was with CA's script loading method that was fixed with the new patch!)

This mod also causes the Exiles of Nehek to crash upon starting a new campaign. I believe this happens with other factions as well. Please look into it. Thanks!
