No, this is a common bug that is not caused by the mod itself which provides all names and descrption correctly. I have no solution so far, maybe you find something.

there are no names listed for over half of the units for both multiplayer and the grand campaign

No, I will release a compilation in the future after the upgrade mod for Britons is released.
John Smith 23 Aug, 2018 @ 3:22am
is this mod part of one of compilation unit ?

Are you sure this happens for units of this mod? They should have their names in English, you are the first one reporting this issue. Can you post a screenshot to show which units are affected?

Yes I am.
Nor Dogroth  [author] 14 Aug, 2018 @ 3:35pm
Are you playing in English?
Meeesaal 14 Aug, 2018 @ 3:26pm
Some units are missing their names and descriptions.

Try it out. I'm currently working on updating mods before I can look into this one.

I think everything works well with the latest patch.
ShadowHeart 10 Mar, 2018 @ 2:01pm
Tested this on patch 19, didn't go all the way through to the upgrades to see if the units work okay, but they at least show up on the tech tree.
ShadowHeart 7 Mar, 2018 @ 1:43pm
understood, and there is no rush. I'm very much aware of the currrent situation of the game, and that modders do these things in their spare time. (I've had similar experiences with moderating forums). People can be very demanding, and while I have suggestions for what i'd like to see, I know i can't expect to see it immediately.

Unfortunately there are just 24 hours a day and modders can't buy food for their mods ;)

The Celtic mod is almost ready for release. Then CA will release a new patch tomorrow that will break a lot of mods I think, especially unit mods that affect Africa/Arabia. I guess I won't have much time to care in the next week so we have to see how it will go.
ShadowHeart 7 Mar, 2018 @ 12:21pm
I'll be looking forward to seeing it, as well as an Iberian one if you decide to do it.
Nor Dogroth  [author] 7 Mar, 2018 @ 5:28am
The Celtic system needs a different way. I will release a tech-up mod for them in the future.
Nor Dogroth  [author] 5 Mar, 2018 @ 2:30am
You're right, Germanic means Germanic.
ShadowHeart 5 Mar, 2018 @ 1:13am
Guessing this doesn't also apply to Celtic tribes, just the Germanic ones?

Are you using Sebidee's Unit Roaster Overhaul? I made some naval units for it: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?edit=true&id=934181163

can you make a heavy naval unit mod for massalia, it would help alot, and this is a great mod.
lucidfatty 8 Feb, 2018 @ 7:25pm
this looks so awesome, you should do more for all those factions/cultures that didn't get to tech up their units!
Nor Dogroth  [author] 7 Feb, 2018 @ 3:11pm
In Celtic tribes there were noble people, who got good weapons and equipment, and "normal" men. Those dealed with every job someone had to do but they didn't have good weapons or armour. In Germanic tribes every free men was a warrior somehow, combat wasn't only for a noble class. So it makes more sense in Germanic culture to have well equiped ordinary fighters.

Thank you. I think the units are not more unhistorical than the game itself. I mean, Germanic people didn't live in large towns but in little, separate settlements. But we play a Total War game so we have those single towns.
The levy upgrades like club warriors are quite ok. Hearthfire Veterans could be men who only lived for the fight, that's historically accurate. Tribesguard match technologies you can research in Rome II.

This mod really looks good. Great work!! Beautiful units. Are they historically accurate? I use DEI 1.2 as main mod, would love to try this in DEI but i am afraid it will not work. This would be a great extra to DEI 1.2 (8 parts).
