@Thorny
Its supposed to be forgery, the coins are thinner than normal septims and are not worth their wieght (RP), I sorta wanted it to be as if they were obviously counterfit but your craftsmenship makes it look real.

I'm sorry but I've lost interest in Skyrim, I no longer will be updating this mod.

I love the idea presented by Eminenssi. Making the act of forgery a crime, and have a detect chance that may be based off of ones speachcraft. Also, please post the required materials for the crafting, and the resulting coin count.

Not having tried this yet, what happens? Are you forging 100 septims out of a gold ingot that would sell for 50? Are you crafting them out of iron or some manner of forgery, hence the dubious part? What are the ingredients and what is the number of septims created?

@ Thorny
You notice in some movis, they bite the gold coins? Its to check if they bend. If they bend its a forgery made with lead and a little bit of gold :)

I like the idea of tying this mod to thief class. How 'bout making the forging process a crime, so you have to make your forgeries secretly? Could also add a chance of merchants discovering fake money depending on the amount you've carrying. Could actually just be percentage of forged money relative to all gold on character.

@Thorny maybe these are made of copper instead of gold like normal septims.

Or you use less gold than normal in each coin but make them thinner so they stay the same diameter.

it doesnt really seem logical. Septims are worth their weight in gold because thats what their made of, its a gold standard. all you would be doing is making your gold bar into tons of septims. that is, if this were the real world and not a game.

Sideshow 21. feb. 2012 kl. 8:17
would also be cool if you could get this through a thiefguild quest(line?) , or other things that don't make it overpowered.
