I wish the seadwellers where amphibians, and could stay more time underwater. I tryed Frackin and Race Traits, but it just wasn't what i was looking for. Does anybody knows a mod that makes them amphibian, or how i could make an edited version of the mod with amphibious sea dwellers?

Well, I've actually made a patch like that for my own enjoyment, I just have it unlisted. I could shoot you the link if you want, though it was made 2+ years ago and I'm not 100% proud of all the scanner dialogue.

Inspection text is not only time consuming but really annoying on file size and load time, unfortunately. In addition we were unsure how to handle it relative to the blood castes having different levels of using funny troll words for things. Also we were lazy.

Most of the objects in my other mods have troll dialogue, though.

This mod is fantastic, I think my favourite thing by far has been that the vanilla races have some pretty fitting and good dialogue for Trolls.
That being said, I was quite sad to see that the inspection text is almost entirely just vanilla stuff. I actually really liked some of the stuff the Troll PC says on their ship, but I'm sad it doesn't carry over to the vanilla stuff.

Granted, I... Can honestly understand why. Would be time consuming and kind of hard to come up with something for almost every single thing in SB. Alas.

To be honest, I'm not a giant fan of what I ended up doing for their Frackin' Races stats, and thinking of good stat traits to apply to all trolls is kind of hard. But coding in blood color specific traits is even harder, and hackier, and I don't want to put that kind of work on you.

Your community should have plenty of Homestucks in it who can think of good ideas for race traits. I'm not really interested in involving myself in Homestuck any further than making sure this mod still works with the latest Starbound.

FU BYOS doesnt work it renders the standard background in a custom ship

I tried making a patch to move the items into there own crafting grub top market vender and to add them to deed spawning, iv found out that code isnt for me so i will very sadly have to drop this from my order until i feel like playing it specifically.

Oh I also didn't notice but the race is very much not our idea, it's the trolls from Homestuck which we did not make.

That was loosely planned when the mod was actively worked on, but at the moment I'm not particularly interested in modding Starbound, nor is the rest of the team, so anything done to the mod is going to be done in the interest of compatibility with latest versions.

Fascinating race idea you've got here. Do you plan on adding troll NPCs/villagers/that kind of thing?

Well, the time and effort has already been put in, I have a patch I've made for my own use

I just wouldn't want a future official one look like it's trying to one-up what you've already done, or for you to put so much dang time and effort into it when it's already planned

Well FWIW, since mine is in .patch format, it wouldn't be incompatible with a future official Trollbound dialogue update, just something fanmade

There's an incompatibility between this mod and mod #1864002537 (G.E.A.R: ONE FOR ALL AND ALL IN THE FURNACE!). Having both installed causes error: [Error] Application: exception thrown, shutting down: (ItemException) Duplicate item name 'virgolegs' found

you'd have to look around for how to create a mod, i think there's a guide on the wiki, but after that it's a pretty simple deal of unpacking trollbound and patching over what ship it uses
