Oh, man oh man. This would've been perfect if it weren't for that screaming metal track....and I'm a metal fan! Please, ditch the screamer.

Thank you @Sapienite you made me discover Dzivia, and it changed my life fr <3

the music transition issues are still there, for me at least, when zooming in and out in battles. Despite that and the levels, this compilation is epic
SuperChelseaTV 14 Jan, 2024 @ 3:09am
Love the Heavy Metal hate comments. Busy Downloading the mod, can't wait to start my Ptolemaic Campaign and try out this expansive collection of music. HERE GOES!?
Ciaphas Cain 13 Nov, 2023 @ 8:09am
oh noez heavy metal!
stauffi 27 Aug, 2023 @ 3:30am
The only criticism I have is that medieval heavy metal song with a guy shouting violently into my ear. Please remove it.
Sapienite  [author] 13 Aug, 2023 @ 9:45am
I could do that, when I find the time. I will have to relearn Wwise a little, but I've been meaning to update the volume levels on this one as well, so it would be possible to put out multiple mods at once. I may even do a tutorial on doing these music mods on Wwise for YouTube.
Cold Stoned Steven 31 Jul, 2023 @ 6:37am
Could you please do one of these with only Medieval 2 (& kingdoms) music? It would really help immersion in 1100 ad mod
Franzosisch 7 Jan, 2023 @ 4:38pm
The music is much too loud and it constantly goes up and down in volume.
Sapienite  [author] 30 Oct, 2022 @ 2:47pm
Hey, Beyond Belief. I do know how to do it now, you have to change the transition time between songs in WWise, under the Transitions section of one of the property editor screens. Does that help?
Seosamh Ó Biden 30 Oct, 2022 @ 1:42pm
Hey, Sapienite. Would you happen to know how to fix music transition in Wwise so that the music doesn't change between the marching and battle music if I move the camera from the scene of the battle?
Sapienite  [author] 6 Sep, 2022 @ 11:56am
I have just updated the mod with a fix, at long last, for the music transition issues during battles! It took a while to find a simple fix. I was really losing my mind trying to figure out why it was happening :steamfacepalm:
Sapienite  [author] 6 Sep, 2022 @ 11:52am
@Enkeli I'd gladly add more music from Kingdoms, Thrones of Britannia, and more, but it does take time and money to do so, so I'll start a Patreon and maybe even publish a YouTube video explaining how to use WWise music modding for Total War if I get more support.

I can expand the mod to include other music that fits as well, like how I have music from Rujnuj by Dzivia and one from Vangelis, etc.
天使 15 Jul, 2022 @ 2:29pm
Hello, a question, would there be a way that you could make a mod of the music of the Thrones of Britannia? I tried to do it myself but I don't understand how it works wwise. I can donate to you to support the creation of that mod.
hwfanatic 6 Apr, 2022 @ 4:01pm
Maybe you should reduce the volume on most tracks to match the original sountrack's volume.
Sapienite  [author] 14 Jan, 2022 @ 7:44pm
@Cold Stoned Steven Yes, it's in there, in the menu along with a lot of others.
Cold Stoned Steven 7 Jan, 2022 @ 5:53pm
does this mod have Time and Again?
Pharaoh 4 Mar, 2019 @ 6:11pm
The music volume is all over the place with this mod making it nearly unplayable
Ragnar 13 Aug, 2018 @ 4:12pm
I just wish there was a youtube video showing how to make a music mod step by step guide
Sapienite  [author] 10 Aug, 2018 @ 1:23pm
Thanks @RexJayden, I appreciate all the subscribes, comments, and suggestions that you and other have given me! @Ragnar, the only way to change the music yourself would be to make your own mod, which would require getting the music yourself, I'm sorry. There are indeed a few things in many of the Medieval tracks which sound too, well, Medieval, but the songs are so good and iconic that I don't mind it; the bells and monastic chants at least give the European tribes a bit of a unique, dark quality to them, compared to the Mediterranean and Middleastern songs.
Ragnar 10 Aug, 2018 @ 12:19am
Question, how can we take out the Medieval music in the mod, I think its very unimersive for the time period, not all of them are by the way, only the ones that have the sound of bells etc...
RexJayden 9 Aug, 2018 @ 8:27pm
Thank you for this awesome mod Sapienite! :2016popsicle:
Sapienite  [author] 9 Aug, 2018 @ 7:08pm
Just need to subscribe Ragnar. And yeah, I was thinking about Atilla. Sure, I can add some in.
Ragnar 8 Aug, 2018 @ 9:22pm
Do we need to download anything else? or just subscribe
RexJayden 25 May, 2018 @ 2:45pm
This mod adds so much to this game...thank you! :critical:
Valal 13 May, 2018 @ 1:58am
@Sapienite Thank you so much for the song list screenshots! EDIT: IT WAS WAR OF KINGS and its amazing. a thousand thanks.
Sapienite  [author] 12 May, 2018 @ 3:24pm
I do actually have a few from that new Kingdoms tablet-like game, but the only songs that blended well were ambient, casual ones, and you should hear them a lot on the campaign map, I put like 5 of them in there at least.
Neonnifyy 11 May, 2018 @ 9:17pm
I'd really love for ToB/TWB:KINGDOM's soundtracks to be included in this mod.
But that's entirely your choice.
NewCenturyCenturion 25 Apr, 2018 @ 8:26am
epic collection! Im very inspired to fight with this
but i have some problems in battle sometimes tracks swiching every 5 seconds
Valal 25 Apr, 2018 @ 1:46am
Hey man, this mod is incredible! There's a song that occurs in battles and has got an unreal glory to it, but can't find it for the life of me- would you possibly be able to list all the songs you've used?
_Caball3ro_ 17 Apr, 2018 @ 3:48pm
I was looking forward for a mod like this one, music from MTW2 and RTW1 was the best ones so far.
I hope you will manage to fix the transition.

good job though
S'Aarum 9 Apr, 2018 @ 5:29pm
The transition is awful every 10 seconds the songs are changing. You need to work on that for a possible update.
Private Pyle 31 Mar, 2018 @ 8:50am
ya in battle i had the song changing after 10 seconds or so.
Ioannes Avgvstvs 29 Mar, 2018 @ 3:13pm

this just makes me want to play med 2 again, and i came here for rome 2 Q_Q
SIX 17 Mar, 2018 @ 8:38pm
Hi i want to ask you something regarding med 2 soundtrack please accept my friend request thx
Rustic Clover 16 Mar, 2018 @ 5:10pm
Okay, that explains it then.
Sapienite  [author] 16 Mar, 2018 @ 4:28pm
The battle music changes to tension music if you zoom out far enough. I tried to fix it by making the transition between the two longer, at 30 or 40 seconds, but nothing I do seems to help. Whatever the Rome I music mod did to fix it, I'd like to know. I'd like to make the range from active combat units go waaay up, but it doesn't seem that wwise allows for an option like that which seems more to do with gamefiles... If anyone knows how to do this, please tell me ASAP, I will ask around.
Rustic Clover 15 Mar, 2018 @ 10:16pm
There seems to be an issue of the songs constantly switching during battles. Any way to fix that? The Rome 1 Music Mod has no issue such as that.
interceptor 11 Mar, 2018 @ 2:00pm
Any chance for having some music from Praetorians? (old strategic PC game)..thanks in advance for the response
Sapienite  [author] 11 Mar, 2018 @ 1:19pm
I updated for the new patch and also updated a few of the quieter songs to be louder (equal to the rest), so make sure to keep the music audio in your game settings fairly low, since I've noticed that all of my music seems to play-over as quite loud in general, at least on my computer. I have my music volume meter at about 25% or lower.
Traskiz 9 Mar, 2018 @ 7:39am
update please :)
Philibert 9 Mar, 2018 @ 3:56am
It's a great mod! Thanks.

I did notice as well that the Divinitus song was a bit bugged, sound skipping, for me, while playing Rome in the Grand campaign and Gaul Campaign. (didn't test anything else)
Jin- 8 Mar, 2018 @ 8:06am
It's ok, but some tracks are way too loud and some are too quiet. I'm rolling back to the rome music mod
Genesi[s] 5 Mar, 2018 @ 9:33am
Thank you so much!

Oh and it was while playing the game in general, I noticed that the sound quality wasn’t as good as it originally should be in the game, but maybe it’s either something on my end or I’m missing something.
Sapienite  [author] 5 Mar, 2018 @ 8:51am
If you can tell me which songs are odd-quality. If you can't explain what song, then could you tell me what faction you were when playing or when it played? (campaign map, battle, loadscreen, main menu, etc) If you mean that ALL of it sounds a little odd, then I'm not sure why, they're all .wav files, which are arguably the highest quality rips possible directly out of CDs.

Here's the software you'll need to do it, Wwise and I'm sure since you've modded you already have Pack File Manager: http://wiki.totalwar.com/w/Wwise_-_Audio_Modding

And here's my favorite tutorial on how to make the mod, especially with Wwise. Although, there is a tutorial on music modding downloaded along with the wwise_music_total_war (or whatever it's called) file: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?658006-Modifying-Music-Making-the-most-of-Wwise
Genesi[s] 5 Mar, 2018 @ 4:40am
Hey man!

I really like this actually, but I noticed that the sound quality is a little odd.

Another thing; I'd like to make my own music mod but I'm unsure how, would you mind pointed out where I could start? I'm not new to Rome 2 modding in general, just music.

Thank you!
Sapienite  [author] 4 Mar, 2018 @ 3:24pm
You would have to make a mod of your own in order to customize any of it. Otherwise, the playlists are all set to random, so if there are some songs you don't like, let me know which ones (somehow, lol), so that I can see how many others think the same.
Marcus 4 Mar, 2018 @ 3:20pm
great music but is there a way i can modify the playlist ?
