Very interesting concept. it would be more fitting if the item would completely remove your life when you collect it (as with The Lost) and you would lose all your coins when you get hit, which you can then collect again but disappear after a while if you do not collect them. the dissapearing like Tainted keepers Coins from the enemies. And you die if you get hit with 0 coins.

This synergizes well with other "don't take damage" items such as Damocles from "Antibirth"... but you MAY want to take some speed-down items (and/or Libra), just so you don't accidentally run into the things you're supposed to dodge.

The amount of creativity in your mods is astounding, keep up the good work! :)

Awesomely fun idea that makes for a viable item, good job!

I did some testing, found that boosting I frames by about 50% felt good without being too strong, update should be up now, if you still feel like its not long enough you can alter the value in the lua

This is fantastic; very clever indeed. ;) I'd like to ask if you could make the item increase your i-frames though, just like the Blind Rage trinket does. It seems like Isaac becomes vulnerable too quickly after getting hit, especially since he can only get hit twice without picking up his health again.

The 'upgrade' is that you can take as much damage as you like and not lose any health, which can be quite powerful, it's just a matter of risk/reward

Its may be a good idea, but making you have two hits before death for a speed upgrade isnt exactly good

For the longest time, I was thinking "How would you do a Sonic item in BOI?" and Im so happy this exists!
The mechanics look great aswell

As for feed back, Id personally love to see the shoes themselves look a bit more "BOI-ish", (Like making them a pair of Ratty lookin' sneakers), while also keeping the iconic colors, socks and shoe buckles still in the design
