dummy blocks?
i cant do much if anything with the model, i dont have the originals, i cant even make it work with the new reload animations without painstakingly recreating the model for use in blender, im not sure even the original author has the original files anymore

still working on the vanilla stats version, there is a small issue with there being no helmet/visor to open, so o2 drain would be continual... not worried about that specifically, its just with visor down, it changes how things sound when using realistic sounds... not sure if there anything i can do about either.

Any chance you'd be willing to do a vanilla stats version of this fixed from Snowz original (if you have permissions to from him still that is)?
We love the model but for balance reasons in MP just want base stats

there is nothing i can do with the physics collision of other blocks, they fit through vanilla blocks, so its down to the other mod author to adjust the collision mesh of his doors, the older vanilla door used to have a similar problem even for the vanilla character...

the last attempt to get a working gun didnt work so well, its quite far up on my to-do list to try again

I like this character model bc of increased storage but I wish the shoulder guns were functional. Also I have this problem where sometimes I get stuck in doors from https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1841717947&searchtext=Admiral+Pack
and I have to wiggle around with jetpack. Otherwise I'm happy to see this skin working again. Thank you!

unsubbing and resubbing does not get you a fresh copy... you need to goto where steam keeps the log of sorts, of all the mods C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\, and edit the file appworkshop_244850.acf and remove the entry for this mod, or just delete that file to get fresh copy of all mods

Ok, I will assume it is something on my end, but It started with the new update and the New DLC which I got at the same time and no other changes. I removed mods one at a time till the crashes stopped, removing this mod was the only one that stopped the crashes, I then created a new game with only this mod and it crashed. I only list all of this so you know that I did my due diligence before posting, well except for Unsubscribing and Resubscribing so I had a fresh copy as it has now dawned on me it may have gotten corrupted somehow.. I will let you know the results of my attempt to fix the issue on my end. Thank you so much for looking in to this! Love the mod!

that might be just about doable with my limited coding ability, the script that is controlling the healing for snobot was an old 'vanilla' script, i will look into this, mainly just for something to do :)

So here's my idea. Autohealing takes energy, and energy drains much faster. If you run out of energy, you stop healing

sounds good, as a sort of balancing bit, would it also be possible to add 50 more energy but make it drain slightly faster? since it doesnt use o2?

yes it can only use the old character changer screen, this is normal, all character mods that dont support skins do this

ok so further info on the issue:

First if anyone else has this issue get everyone affected into a cryopod close the game remove the snobot and have everyone confirm at a med station this should revert them into a normal engineer.

as for this issue it may be that the snowbots are reverting the avatar skin changer into the old system it may require recoding to use the new custom screen to fix but I'm no programmer I'm just good as spit balling.

i dont have access to the original model files to make such alterations, best that can be done is a dummy model rifle, with the muzzle offset to roughly where the barrel is currently, but there are inaccuracies when bending over, the offset points move inconsistently :(

that looks like more of a Game bug, there is nothing in the definition to allow/prevent that, i will check it out but i dont know when, i have a 2PC cooling upgrade to do this week while its still cold, im not looking forward to it :(

tricky yes but its also simple on an animation standpoint simply partition the barrels and make them spin then add a little recoil to the arm and its done. the hard part is on the character action [ready gun] to raise the arm and fire on mouse 1.

basicly from ground up I can see the trickiness of it animation wise any one with 50 hours in blender can do it but would still be tough on the programming side but not imposible.

Please fix the mark 1 bot its my prefered snowbot skin. awsome work fixing mark 2 btw but can you make it so it has an animation required and only avalable to the MK 2 skin to enable the guns on the arms to fire instead of the MK 2 needing a rifle?

Could even make the snow bot assembly with schematics for "Upgrades" to get each type of weapon for the MK 2

I remember the Snobot had huge inventory space. Im not seeing that anymore is that a change in the mod or is it being disabled by a mod i have installed?

that was sort of my attempt, but the object keeps moving when looking up and down, making the firing and muzzle flash would move away from the gun barrel part of the model, i would need to make proper animations to control the location of the invisible gun object, beyond my abilities
