Thanks Lord Saturn! Is Desync something I can fix, or is it something I'd have to hope the developers get around to? I'll jump on over to forums now to find out more.

@nitrodoll It's called Desync and it happens very frequently with me. It's not a problem with the map, but a connection problem between you, the rest of the players and the game. It seems the data package exchanged between players stops matching, then different things happen to each one of them. Sometimes that will make your collision boxes be in a different map, chains not breaking, boxes floating, etc. In that case, you were not sent to the map (while your vision of the players showed them to be normal), so to you your stick just falls into the abyss. You can find more info about that in the forums, but it's not something that will be fixed so soon.

Anyone know why when the map loads (3, 2, 1, start!) the ground vanishes beneath me and I drop and die? Doesn't happen on my opponents screen, they just see me fall through the ground.

Tip: If you get the Shotgun on the left side, you can perform a glitch with the strong recoil from that weapon by pressing yourself towards the wall that protects the laser, then shooting it - then, you'll appear on the other side.
