If I dont have trusters bottom?
hanels 20. nov. 2023 kl. 1:57
hello, negative numbers use only gravity to get speed? It does not use forward thrusters?
SileniusFF 14. sep. 2023 kl. 7:24
It is alive! Yay!
Lama 13. sep. 2023 kl. 12:54
yay new update
StubieDubie 12. sep. 2023 kl. 18:13
Hooray indeed!
Spicie 12. sep. 2023 kl. 17:44
Hooray!!
TenTech 12. sep. 2023 kl. 14:21
Blarg lives!
Blargmode  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2023 kl. 14:01
I just updated the script, it now works again. Sorry for the delay.
StubieDubie 6. sep. 2023 kl. 19:58
I republished Blarg's v2.0 beta that he referred to in an old comment on this script. Initially I refactored the v1.0 script, but the v2.0-beta was far superior so I published that instead. If Blarg objects, I will take it down.

Find it here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3031986332 .
Kaito 5. sep. 2023 kl. 0:09
Keen removed some LCD methods iirc
StubieDubie 4. sep. 2023 kl. 18:53
Of curiosity, what are people finding that is broken? I suspected that the problems I was having were related to parsing the settings in the PB custom data, but are people having other problems? Specifically what broke due to the recent release?
Spicie 4. sep. 2023 kl. 11:50
yes please link, i think blarg is gone as well
Warlocc 4. sep. 2023 kl. 11:47
@captain Stubing If you make a new version of this, please link it here. A lot of us could use it. Seems like he's gone from SE, the Workshop, or both, for at least two years.
StubieDubie 4. sep. 2023 kl. 10:35
@Blargmode What is your stance on republishing? I have a refactored version of your script that I use privately. It uses some of your code verbatim, refactors some parts, removes some parts and adds some features. Would you object if I published it, with you credited/linked?
TenTech 4. sep. 2023 kl. 5:14
They've been doing it since alpha.
Kaito 3. sep. 2023 kl. 5:46
Keen breaking all our scripts for no good reason. Thanks Keen.
TenTech 3. sep. 2023 kl. 3:52
It's been five years, and we haven't heard from Blarg since 2020. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
Spicie 2. sep. 2023 kl. 13:06
I hope this gets updated, its so useful
Warlocc 31. aug. 2023 kl. 19:53
This stopped working as of today's update.
TwT 1. jan. 2023 kl. 19:15
Obrigado por esse script maravilhoso.

Thanks for this wonderful script.
Avarice 2. sep. 2022 kl. 4:46
Hey Blarg, love the script. I am currently working on a new project where I would like to have the script's programmable block on a subgrid. Basically it's just a detachable(via rotor) pod with all the scripts needed to run the ship on it. Is this at all possible?
Logoth 4. mar. 2022 kl. 21:03
I had a ship with 8 bottom atmo thrusters and a big rear hydrogen thrusters, I thought this script used to fly up as high as it could with the atmos, then turn on the hydrogen thrusters, rotate the ship, and burn the hydrogen thrusters to finish getting to orbit? Am I thinking of another script, or does this one not work like that (anymore?)
TenTech 3. feb. 2022 kl. 4:04
It's been four years, so I doubt it.
GuitarEC 1. feb. 2022 kl. 20:25
Any chance we can get an update for this script? When I try to compile, I get a bunch of errors about "deprecated code" involving the "lcd.WritePublicText" and "ShowPublicTextOnScreen" statements on Line 87.
Emphram 17. dec. 2021 kl. 13:50
When setting a forward speed, if for whatever reason it goes over the target speed (gravity), it doesn't compensate and instead just keeps accelerating. Controlled descent works perfectly however.
SileniusFF 14. dec. 2021 kl. 7:00
Have the same issue as @Ngangalaro - ingame script browser shows ACC listed with workshop description but nothing is copied to Programmable block. Guess the workshop file is somehow broken or SE updates changed something.
TenTech 28. nov. 2021 kl. 9:46
It hasn't been updated for nearly four years, and scripting has been tweaked more than once in that time. Don't be surprised if it doesn't work.
Ngangalaro 28. nov. 2021 kl. 2:01
I can see the usage information when I select the script when browsing through the list of scripts I've subscribed to after using the "Edit" button of the programmable block. However, nothing is getting loaded into the programmable block. It keeps the default data from when a new block is created and welded up to functional. I've deleted the workshop content folder to pull fresh copies of all mods, rebooted my computer, and even validated the game. It is only this particular script that won't fill the programmable block with code.
Kaito 21. apr. 2021 kl. 12:19
This is a must have on all my ships meant to transit between surface and orbit. The pre-release version works like a charm. It goes up and down smoothly, as long as you give it a sensible minimum height according to your thrust and mass.

Would be nice if it could do some mass and thrust math on its own, but this works as long as you give it some margin for error.

I just make it stop 20m above the first waypoint for Spug's Easy Auto Docking script, and when ACC disengages, I hit the other button and voila!
hanels 4. apr. 2021 kl. 14:58
Hello, I was really happy to see working script (I was already testing one, but it showed error on some locomotives) but now I am little confused, because it did not slow down, when going down from the hill :(
Blu 27. mar. 2021 kl. 6:48
Would it be possible to tag a timer block that would trigger after disengaging? I'd like to use it on cargo hauler to disable atmo thrusters and start remote control block once it's out off the atmosphere.
Kryze 23. jan. 2021 kl. 12:35
I would love the subgrid feature too! <3 Would be a game changer!
Storpappa 9. jan. 2021 kl. 7:22
Came here from an ISL shuttle. Thanks for the script and replies. Sad that you can't delete or down vote Debbie Downer comments like TenTech below.

We run SE on Torch/dedicated server and use Atmospherics - just looking for settings to prevent burn up, besides setting the speed to 50m/s
Blargmode  [ophavsmand] 22. dec. 2020 kl. 6:46
@Morphic It can't do that as is but it's a good idea! I'm afraid I don't have time to look at it now but I'll keep it in mind. I have been meaning to do some updating of it anyway.
Morphic 21. dec. 2020 kl. 14:45
Is there any ability for this script to utilise subgrid thrusters too? I have a ship with subgrid thusters on hinges. I use Whip's Subgrid script to control them with WASD, but this script doesn't seem to use them.
FaceStuffer 24. nov. 2020 kl. 8:13
Still works fine
Teamw0rk 7. nov. 2020 kl. 3:03
It works pretty good as is, just has the LCD issue for me. its nice and modular too, does its thing.
Blargmode  [ophavsmand] 6. nov. 2020 kl. 14:06
Yeah, I've had a complete rewrite in the works since pretty much 1.5 years ago... It's not perfect yet, that's why it hasn't been released, and I've had a busy year.

However, I figure you can try the new version if you want. I made a release on github [github.com]. Just copy it into the programmable block. It has cockpit support of course.
TenTech 6. nov. 2020 kl. 12:24
The script hasn't been updated in two and a half years, predating the latest tweaks to scripting. Don't expect it to work.
Teamw0rk 6. nov. 2020 kl. 9:45
Im following the instructions, but the script isnt displaying its self on the flight cockpits LCD's am i doing something wrong? or cant the script do cockpit LCD's?
Brianetta 30. sep. 2020 kl. 11:31
I use this to cruise between NPC stations on Earth, as well as to get to space. For level flight, it's still a massive fuel saver, no matter which type of thruster you have fitted. Just keep the dampeners on for hours of high speed flight time.
TenTech 22. maj 2020 kl. 22:40
Scripting has been tweaked since the last update of this script, two years ago. I'm surprised it works for you at all.
Spaceman Spiff 22. maj 2020 kl. 21:30
I did try again several times, and "swap" (without the parentheses) doesn't do anything. If I leave "swap" out of the argument line, then the ship does a wonderful job flying to space using the bottom thrusters. But when the ship's loaded, the bottom thrusters aren't enough and I can't get it to use the larger rear thrusters. Help?
Spaceman Spiff 20. maj 2020 kl. 18:07
I'm confused. The script seems to default to using the bottom thrusters instead of the rear thrusters for the ascent. When I include "swap" in the run arguments, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Glenn G 22. apr. 2020 kl. 4:29
A quick request for this otherwise awesome script if I may? Can you please add a way to tag and ignore thrusters you don't want to use. I have some fighter craft i designed and thier missles get messed up by the script, Thanks!
TenTech 23. dec. 2019 kl. 15:07
This script is out of daite, guys. Last update was April '18, and scripts were tweaked in one of the recent updates.
Genesis_Viper 8. dec. 2019 kl. 13:16
This won’t work for me I hit run and it screws up and won’t find the flight seat
wantedsafe471 27. nov. 2019 kl. 17:56
Is there anyway to have this script use thrusters on rotors?
TenTech 25. sep. 2019 kl. 4:55
Just checked the code on this after going a long time without, and it needs updating.
Skallabjorn 29. juli 2019 kl. 17:54
When disengaging and the forward thrusters fire, its turning on my ions as well, can the script be told to ignore ion thrusters?
