I've finally managed to get my Class IV Behemoth and eaten a few planets without getting yelled at, so it's working fine. Zero issues with popups, I think that user was just confused by another mod.

Paradox change strings: Leader - trait events, all mods that have changed this or used basic event pages should be updated. According to another mod author, this is the issue.

"I think Paradox did not change anything regarding loyal vassals receiving penalties for cracking planets, so this mod is still necessary (at least in my opinion). As for balance, I don’t think this mod needs any changes, but I’m not deeply into Stellaris to say for certain whether it does or not. Anyway, I’m just glad you will keep this mod updated, even if it takes a while. Thank you for your hard work! :steamthumbsup:

Ah, I don't update my mods until I've played a bit of the vanilla update so I know if they're still needed/should have any balance changes.

To be honest, I don’t know. I didn’t play much of 4.0 since I’m still waiting for mods like yours to update to 4.0, so I can play with my usual mod list.

With 4.0 this causes a loop of unending event popups that are blank. Do not use until fixed.

Does it still work on 3.10? If not, does anyone know of any similar mods? It is most infuriating to have even my entire federation turn on me the second I use one on an enemy planet.

Not fixed, nope. It still works despite the version mismatch, so I'll only bother to update it once the new expansion drops.

Thank you. I'm subscribed to the comments, so if you make another comment here, I'll know and I'll subscribe to the mod. I'm down to 130 mods, but my game lags so much, even in the main menu. I have no clue which mod it is or if it's a combination of two or more. (that slows it down)

I mean, if I click settings, then it should instantly open the settings and it shouldn't lag behind by several seconds, right? So i'm trying t put together a minimalistic list of 'must have' mods that expand the game but won't slow it down.

...but that's a bunch of extra work? Why am I supposed to do the extra work of uploading copies I won't use, when you won't do the extra work of copy-pasting your mod directory to keep old copies?

It's literally not, it is literally just keeping the files from the last version and uploading it as a separate mod, which you should already still have from backing up files.

Nope. A loyal vassal can believe you wouldn't crack their planets and aren't a threat to them. When you plan on destroying the fabric of the universe, though...

Any chance you can also make it so that your (loyal) vassals don't start hating you if you blow up stars with the Star Eater? It's in the Crisis files if I remember correctly.

Not a bug yet, but count_pops and count_owned_pops have been deprecated in 3.0.0, so the error log is showing:

"count_pops/count_owned_pops has been deprecated, use count_owned_pop or count_species_pop instead at file: events/planet_destruction_events.txt line:"

No idea. Once I've done my first unmodded game of 3.0.1, I'll check and fix. If planet cracking interacts with the new Become The Crisis system, the scripts for cracking have probably changed.
