hey @spug i see your online any chance of updating this and your main script or are you done with this script and will no longer support it? because if you are done with scripting you should put something like (BROKEN) in the title or (DEPRECATED)

First: Awesome script!
But there is one thing that i can't accomplish: I have a station A und a station B. If its docked to station A, I can't recall it to station B unless i manually take control, undock and move the ship a bit. Is there a way to undock automatically if it receives a recall?

I'd like him to fix it soon... It's calling obsolete functions. The parent script was easy to fix, but this one... not so much.

Well even how hard i try to settle it up That the Cargo Ship goes to the "home" and go back to base it doesn't work :I Maybe you can handle something to get this to work ? Would be really nice if you can have 1 Moving Home and one Static home and the Ship can go to each of them

Is it Possible to make 1 Ship that has to go to 3 Different Docking Stations ? 2 Drill Ships wich are Moving and 1 Base on a Planet ? And does this even work If there 2 Programmable Blocks 1 With these Script and the other one with the default script ? so that these Drill Ships can even dock too ?

Woodzykiler - Hey awesome! 22 blimey, I expect that gets laggy... but it probably looks spectacular.
Hmmmm now the issue could be down to either the bug that's been hovering about a bit: to do with being so far away from spawn the coordinates get too big to use with the functions I used (not been able to track it down properly though) - causes wobbling.
The other possibility could be to do with copy-pasting because as you may have read from my extra documentation they need unique identifiers. Some issue such as that maybe?
Anyways I'd be very interested to hear any further steps you take with this and the side effect mentioned. - keep me updated

SO i got Really creative on this one, i used the "Formations Script" in combo with this and the moble home one you have. It works amazing! i was able to undock 22 small drones, then Dock them all with no main ship movement. but then i did it again with the main ship in a diffrent area. and things got a bit strange. some how the drones forgot the rout to the docking bay slightly. and like before half of them crashed and burned lol.
I have been messing about with your "Interesting side effect" to get something going with this in my free time, Baby+Work=little free time lol

Squg, I was on earth, but with testing the script to see what is it´s "sweet spot" is. I came to find that Large grids can connect to other large grids, small grids to large grids, but when a small grid tries to connect to another small grid it just does not want to do anything and do its wobble dance. Hope the info helps.

Mineman_Miner18 - If you're on mars or the alien planet, that's your problem i'm afraid. for some reason the coordinates don't work and cause it to wobble :/ annoying issue

Hi, im having a problem where the ship is swinging side to side when on the Home connector.
I have everything done right as in the instructions and in the video.

i found what might be a bug and that is if you're trying to recall a ship while it's already docked to a different connector elsewhere, i expected just either to have it undock itself, or for nothing to happen at all, but instead it causes it to overwrite the recalled home position onto the connector it's currently on. so recall can make it overwrite a home position which is pretty bad if you ask me o_o..

Ah ok, ty i was asking because i couldn't find a ship on the workshop that could really hold your white fox ship "hangers too small" and "bad computer can't handle really big ships" so was woundering :)

I3ilLy_G04T - ah awesome, that's good it's working more for you :) if you can recreate the issue, for instance if on one world only it has the problem then I'd like to try and fix it still. Or at least put a warning out. Also it could be a particular ship? One thing you could do that would be really helpful is if it is a world or a ship is upload it to the workshop and send me a link. (Or add me as a friend and do a private workshop upload)

Ok don't know why but only in 1 world it make that spin... in a clear world and in a world with all my mods it works but not in my saved world :D hmm! i deleted my negative comment and hope i can fix that.

I will try it again now. On a new fresh offline server. Yes i tried it on my offline server with other mods, but without any remote mod and your mod was the last one in the list. If it still spinning i'll make a video.

It spin around, does't realy know how to get to the connector, then after 2 min and 10 meter it doesn't connect. It can but it do nothing, just sping around and around. I tought i moved the ship but with a sation same promlen... If you want i make a video. This mod looks very nice and the tuorial is fine and short but SPINNING =/

@forwardthefoundationii Glad to hear you got it working in the end, you could set "gridCheck" to false if you don't want the program to make sure it's all on one grid. (Be careful about recompiling, it'll search your base too for thrusters and connectors to try and use)

I had to remove the rotors and place antennas on the drones... had to change the mining drones itself to do so ... but it worked afterall...

I guess being in a rotor, is a diff grid and the script doesnt work...

Im sorry for so much text... but i finally made it work between mothership and drones... I changed the default tags in the script... cool feature, since now I can use multiple motherships and drones, ty very much

and the most weird thing is that I have the drone not connected to the mothership... its like it is using the motherships antenna even though it has no tag on it, only on the drone antenna. so how can it use information from another ship, when its not even connected ?

First of all, congrats on this script.

For some reason, it is using the first Auto Dock script I have to dock the mothership to the station. Not talking about the Optional Script (this one) but about the main script. Is it possible to have 2 of those , one for the drones to the mothership, and another for the mothership to the station?
