Is there a mod that makes great scientists get earned more slowly? I keep getting games where theres a renescance era scientist available in the classical era or something, it's so annoying

Hi ssrjcjl, thanks for your notification. We don't have this version yet. When we get it, we will update the mod. I apologize for the delay, but life is a bit hectic at the moment.

Hi, I've a problem and hopefully u can solve it :)
Wonder or buildings alike, once those ur mod added is pillaged, it become nearly impossible to repair. I guess it has something to do with the belief allowing purchase of science building with faith so that u add those building's cost?(I believe I saw those buildings in the faith purchase menu) I think it happens with many of ur real great person mods.
It's OK when playing R&F, but when it comes to GS where districts are more likely to be pillaged, it matters :(
Sorry for my English cuz it's not my native language. THX :)

Mod updated for the GS patch (so it will not cause a warning).

@KrumStrashni the cost of the great people is not set on an individual great person, so this mod does not affect that. In vanilla game I got several merchants in the same turn even because I passed one and everyone else was so behind that my points stockpiled. Could that have been the case for you?

@skaz88 after trying the Hadrian mod with this I see the conflict. The radium institute from Marie Curie is a science building that gives both science and production. The Hadrian mod does not expect this since buildings in a district usually only give a single yield type. Unless the creator of Hadrian can update to support multiple yields on buildings in a district, you would have to modify the radium institute of this mod to only include one yield instead of both science and production.

I'm having a clash between this and Hadrian, is there a reason this would block him?

@AOM Hi, I am trying to figure how to increase the cost of getting the new great persons. They are not in the XML filr it seems. I am playing long games and usually increase the costs of everything to scale. I have a mod increasing the vanilla GP costs, but I figured it does not affect these new ones and I got three in the renaissance era at once....

Hi kevblackwel, I've sent you a friend invite.

Hi guanbolin1997, thank you for the suggestions. We can take a look at these, although right now we're focused on a couple other mods, so it could be a while before anyone new is added to this one.

How about the adds the Gregor Johann Mendel the father of Genetics
(plantments gain science and provides standar Adjacent markup for college era)
and Antoine-Laurent de Lavoisier as the father of chemistry?
(gain a eurika for chemistry, science lab require 20% production less)
they should be put at industrial era

I have some problems
1.once enemy destory the building build by Aryabhata,I have no way to repair it

as additiona,i do not think haber's ability will make an so much unbalance cause in morden era.mechanized farming and trade road makes the farm less required. almost 4~5 farm can let a city grows healthy.and in this era population was not so important as nearly all cities get its function. habor's ability just provide 10%~15% food as much like the icing on the cake

thanks for add haber for the mod.he finally got its position as he does, and lei my dream came ture. thanks AOM for a lot

Update uploaded. It adds Bose, Curie, and Haber :)
AOM  [author] 1 Jun, 2018 @ 10:00am
Hi guanbolin1997, Fritz Haber would make a great addition. He doesn't seem politically incorrect. We're planning on adding Marie Curie and, possibly, Satyendra Nath Bose so he can go in at the same time :)
guanbolin1997 1 Jun, 2018 @ 8:12am
I think that……if we departed form the political correctness, there should be a place fo [Fritz Haber] in great scienceest or engeneering……his creation is so important for modern society……and also civs nearly don't have any great people for food or farm's addition.

@bwnichol UI Type Mods that can be unsubribed(and as such removed from active mod list, and not disable the save) frequently leave behind random glitch's due to the difference in how they work. if you started new games after unsubcribing and its still happening, Make sure that all objects have been removed from the Mod Folder, and the Folder its self inside your Mods Location. (inside steam workshop where your steam stuff is installed, sadly its all #'s not names for folders so tracking it down is not easy.) Likely will STILL have to start New Games. But this is a Glitch with the types of Mods and Steam/Civ not the Mods them Selves.

When I first subscribed to this mod, it added a relic slot to my libraries like it was supposed to. But after I unsubscribed the relic slot is still there. How do I turn my libraries back to the way they used to be?
iamtheresurrection94 19 Mar, 2018 @ 10:40am
Fair enough, subscribed! Those Scientists are hugely OP anyway, even if I love it :p
AOM  [author] 18 Mar, 2018 @ 3:54pm
Hi iamtheresurrection94, we wanted this mod to make all great scientists equally great. Unless you're going for a space race victory, getting a space race-focused great scientist really isn't very great. We elected to switch them out with scientists that give a bonus a player can use regardless of what victory type they're going for. Getting culture or science moves you along the respective trees more quickly, and the defense bonus to military units will help anyone facing a late-game military offensive.
