Could you, please, remove the connector graphical parts from the parts which don't function as connectors? That would solve the issue people are having. Thanks!
ceilyurie 23 Sep, 2021 @ 4:54am
Wait...it's seriously hard coded that you can't have four connector ports on one object...in the base code? THAT sucks.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 8 Jul, 2021 @ 9:41am
it's one of two sides without those darker wedges
Marinecoco 7 Jul, 2021 @ 11:38pm
I cant find the one that would connect
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 7 Jul, 2021 @ 11:48am
one does, should at least
Marinecoco 6 Jul, 2021 @ 8:50pm
None of the sides connect to a connector
jackobrian 6 Oct, 2020 @ 12:30pm
not working... connector don't lock
Fu$ion 14 Aug, 2020 @ 12:36pm
Yes but no Steel, add steel :)))
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 14 Aug, 2020 @ 11:40am
they have same build reqs as regular containers
Fu$ion 14 Aug, 2020 @ 11:32am
I can work around only one side connecting but not when crates explode from lightly touching surrounding blocks. Need a serious strength boost imo.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 4 Jul, 2020 @ 1:47am
could you please rephrase that?
Solraven 3 Jul, 2020 @ 12:49am
how do you make a connector that does not require power to connect?
Parszywy Lisi Bobek 28 Jun, 2020 @ 9:44pm
Oh, I get it. Okey, thanks buddy :)
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 28 Jun, 2020 @ 4:35am
light up and connects.
the problem with this mod is that only one port works.
cause i screwed up and it's hardcoded
so container has these 2 darker ridges going along 4 of its faces
one of the two faces WITHOUT the ridges work
from default orientation it's the one on the right
Parszywy Lisi Bobek 19 Jun, 2020 @ 3:36pm
Thank you, i'm waiting for results :)
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 19 Jun, 2020 @ 5:02am
i'll test
Parszywy Lisi Bobek 19 Jun, 2020 @ 3:57am
I don't know what I do wrong, but it doesn't want to connect (even doesnt highlight yellow)
Parszywy Lisi Bobek 12 Jun, 2020 @ 1:48am
Hydrogen tank would useful too
LeeTheFlea 2 Mar, 2019 @ 11:32am
Does this container not get picked up by trash settings?
Shinoshi 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:24pm
wouldn't mind a hydrogen tank like this.
spacedout 16 Nov, 2018 @ 12:35am
Great idea but it might be better if you just remove the non functional connectors or somehow mark the only connector that actually works.
Green-Osom 8 Nov, 2018 @ 6:29am
If it were vanilla it would also requier a power source. Also it would look better if two blocks were used.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 7 Nov, 2018 @ 6:05pm
if i wanted multiple blocks i would've used vanilla container and vanilla connector
Green-Osom 7 Nov, 2018 @ 4:29pm
Why don't you make it have 2 half container blocks. This way you also have extenders to increas cargo size.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 28 Oct, 2018 @ 8:03am
you cant add more than one functionality of a functional block to a single block
Tristan 28 Oct, 2018 @ 7:41am
Hmm that is somewhat awkward, maybe connectors in one direction and merge block in another direction? Think something akin to a ship cargo box but with a connector in a direction, would be just cool as ship to sweep in and grab a cargo box in space combat (which is now viable with the relative dampening) and zoom off. Kinda star wars ish.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 28 Oct, 2018 @ 7:37am
sadly i couldnt really go through with the idea all the way cause number of connector rings is hardcoded to 1 and SOMEHOW while i was testing the fact went under the radar
Tristan 28 Oct, 2018 @ 6:54am
Yummy, been saying we need some kind of detachable cargo thing for ages now, and due to the way SE works making it as a dense grid is basically impossible.
Would love to see some varients of these so that cargo ships/bases etc could be designed with the idea of moving containers of things rather than having to completely dock ships up all the time to move cargo about.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 18 May, 2018 @ 1:20am
for now
the one that works is the one without those bars coming through,
there are only 2 of them as opposed to 4 with the ribs coming through
ratheden 18 May, 2018 @ 1:17am
No need for killing, any chance you could make the rest of the work OR Highlight the working one and remove the rest?
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 18 May, 2018 @ 1:07am
ok so 1 of the 6 slots work
chances are it's the only slot that ever worked
and if it's only slot that ever worked fkn kill me
ratheden 18 May, 2018 @ 12:39am
thanks for looking into it, Great idea with this mod
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 18 May, 2018 @ 12:31am
there was no update to the game?
gonna look into it
ratheden 17 May, 2018 @ 11:39pm
I too am having issues, Mod may be broke due to game updates. The containers stick together just fine, was able to make a large stable block of them and a line of the too, but even with the connection strength turned up-to 100% on both the ship and the cargo box , they do not connect.
dRuPpI 17 May, 2018 @ 2:50pm
i can't get it to work ... connectors stay off all the time i'm missing somthing?
Olie 18 Apr, 2018 @ 7:15am
this is going to be very useful.
Azirahael 15 Apr, 2018 @ 1:45am
I think if it had one side with a conveyor port, that would be handy.
... if it doesn't already.
Anubis 13 Apr, 2018 @ 6:20pm
Ye gods, what is this sorcery?
Ranos 5 Apr, 2018 @ 3:45am
This mod is too great not to do a video of ^-^
CTH2004 2 Apr, 2018 @ 5:51pm
Awsome!
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 2 Apr, 2018 @ 10:56am
oh lol ranos found your video
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 2 Apr, 2018 @ 7:39am
there are no current plans on doing other models
i am still in process of fighting 3d software to do my bidding
Ranos 1 Apr, 2018 @ 5:47pm
Just one like the longer container. It looks like two large containers welded together.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 1 Apr, 2018 @ 3:22pm
@ranos what do you mean? you want a bigger container or what?
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 1 Apr, 2018 @ 3:20pm
code-wise it is a connector not a container
Solraven 30 Mar, 2018 @ 11:36pm
so because its a container not a connecter you can make it not require power? now that you have figured out a workaround, is it posible to make containers in the shape of slim connecters (like this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=387054218) that dont require power to connect but have regular conveyor ports on the other side? that would allow a lot of flexibility. a cargo container that had 3 conveyor ports and 3 connectors would allow you to put a parachute on it and drop them from a ship at high altitude, drain them, possibly put other stuff in them, attach them to a launch ship that brings them back to space, rinse repeat.

also dead drones suck.
DeAnti 30 Mar, 2018 @ 2:44pm
nice
Ranos 30 Mar, 2018 @ 3:43am
From what you have said below, it doesn't produce any power, it just thinks it's always powered. Which is a great way to do it in my opinion.

Any way, do you think you may be able to add an extra large container line the one from this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=375315957 ?
Even adding containers like the ones from the Azimuth mod pack could be an interesting idea.
LookAtMyHorse  [author] 28 Mar, 2018 @ 10:27pm
every time i turned ship's reactors off containers got detached so i don't think you really can power anything with them
Darian Stephens 28 Mar, 2018 @ 7:00pm
I wouldn't imagine it's much; probably only a watt or two.
