This music is so good I often forget that it's not apart of the base game, it fits in so well with the rest of the Stellaris soundtrack and I absolutely love that.
Thank you so much for creating such great pieces of music.
Additionally, the tracks are available on my Youtube channel, but it appears there are no links specifically to my YT profile anywhere on this mod's page. The good news is that all but the latest track (Menace or Savior) are available on Youtube... and that one is probably only missing because I forgot to upload it.

Last but not least, the links at the beginning of this page should still work just fine and contain the entire mod's worth of music as either .mp3 or .flac files. Just thought I'd mention it in case you missed it. :)
It's fascinating how we associate music with experiences we were having while listening to it, isn't it? This is especially true for game music, where we usually spend many hours playing while listening to the same few tracks - and even though the Stellaris soundtrack has grown over the years, there's still *a lot* of repetition going to happen, haha!
On a related note, I wanted to release an update with an additional track around the end of last year, but had a catastrophic SSD failure on Christmas Eve (but of course, when else?). I've since been able to reinstall my OS and get my computer up and running again but need to get a few more things in order before I can release the track; it's basically done though, so hopefully won't be too long (unless I forget about it
My favourites are echoes of light, smugglers blues and interstellaris^^
Regarding mods - yeah, it's better to keep the text saved somewhere. Mine got deleted during upload a few times as well.
I've been unable to make this mod work in the current version, the new tracks don't show up, the game keeps saying "Could not find files for *your mod* ". I believe it is because there is a wrong path in the descriptor file (there shouldn't be any path at all in this file actually)
I got your mod to work by creating my own copy of yours and deleting this "path" line in the descriptor.
As I said before, unless Paradox changes the way this whole process works, I don't see why any music mod should stop working :)
I just wanted to make sure that Paradox messing with music files wouldn't mess with this mod. I love it!
If they are pure music mods and don't add or modify anything else regarding gamepay then no, these mods should never need updating. :) They might show up as outdated in the launcher, but will continue to work just fine.
By the way, if you are looking for another high-quality mod featuring original music, I highly recommend IllustrisJack's mod "Handcrafted Soundtracks / Music by Suabia". These two music mods are pretty much always active in all of my Stellaris games. :D
And let's face it, while the soundtrack of Stellaris is - pun intended - absolutely stellar, listening to the same tracks over and over again for hundreds or thousands of hours does get a little old. :)
You are free to try it for yourself, though - that is, download the .flac album and make a mod for personal use out of it. All I ask is that you don't share it on the workshop or anywhere else.
If setting the mod to active in your current mod playset doesn't work, try unsubscribing and subscribing again. It appears that sometimes steam (or Stellaris) does funky stuff with subscribed mods.
Thanks a lot for letting us know about this! As I said before, unless something is changed about the way purely cosmetic mods like music packs are used by the game, this mod should always stay compatible no matter the version number. And thanks for your feedback as well, I am glad you are enjoying the mod! :)
Why? Is the mod not working? I haven't run the game with the latest updates yet, but if it's just the warning in the mod launcher you are concerned about there's nothing to worry about. The mod should still work just fine (and also be achievement compatible).
So unless something big happens that actually breaks this mod's functionality, there will be no more updates just to change a number in a text file, sorry. For all intents and purposes, I consider this mod complete.
