@Balzaphon I tested the game with only SFO enabled, then with SFO and this mod enabled, and the skill required 4 skill points in the group to acquire for both. I tested both with Wulfrik and Throgg, and still 4 points required.

Whilst playing Norsca this mod causes the "mammoth wrestler" skill to require 5 skill points to unlock (it should be 4) (Could be exclusive to Wulfrik's)

yes, but it won't give your characters extra skill points for the levels they're gained before activating it.

Unfortunately, there simply aren't enough skills in the skill trees for these heroes in the vanilla game for there to not be extra skill points at high levels. This mod is balanced around SFO Grimhammer, which adds extra skills for every single hero type in the game.
I'm going to make and upload a separate version of the mod that's balanced for vanilla, which simply doesn't add extra skills for heroes, as I tested in my game and the greenskin caster heroes had around 10 extra skill points; about as much as this mod adds compared to the base number.

Seems like the orc shaman now gets too many points, i got one that is level 33 and he has no more skills to put points into.

Yep, this mod works fine.
Tested it both by itself, with SFO installed, and with SFO plus all my other mods (around 60 in total).
Will update it in the launcher so that people don't think it's outdated.

@CyberianK: Nah it will never be this mod, CA will never have to change the skill trees in a way that would make this mod crash or bug your game.
I have been using this mod for a VERY long time and even when it was not updated for 3+ DLC's in a row it still worked just fine.

So its 100% one of your other mods.

@Doggfather: Oh wait nvm I am sorry dude I must just not play clan angrund much (I doubt anybody does lol) I did not notice they are just jumped to level 5 by default this mod ACTUALLY let's you pick the skill points however instead of that being instantly picked for you, but sadly without the extra skill points being added so debatably still worse then having them start at lvl 1 with this mod (Not saying that's your or SFO's fault)

@Doggfather: Was just a bit strange to attempt clan angrund in vanilla then added the balance skill point mod and BOOM they jumped to level 5, and when I tested this I was only using the skill point mod.

No, that seems like a conflict or bug with some other mod you have installed. I'll test Clan Angrund myself but I doubt it has anything to do with it.

I think i'm getting a bug. My issue is that when I'm using Ikit and use a Doomrocket in battle its not registering outside of combat
By that I mean that when the match is over I still have my nuke in stock, unused. So free nukes! The problem is that it isn't registering for quests. So despite nuking three armies I still haven't gotten through the Technicians Grotto quest to upgrade my workshop.

So the latest WH2 update that shipped with The Prophet and the Warlock seems to have broken a lot of mods. I also checked if my mod worked first thing after the DLC update, and I got several turns into a Tehenhauin campaign without any crashes, so the compatibility problems right now are definitely caused by something CA did.

OKAY, apparently you can only use ONE mod at a time! Which is some bull sh*t but hey, if you only want skill point mod then I guess it's fine. I first deleted all my mods in the mod folder and waited til they had loaded again from the launcher (they're just deleted from the hardrive not from steam) but that didn't work so i went to reddit where someone wrote that only one mod at a time works right now. Hope it gets fixed soon because dang, it's frustrating.
