Fix the Iron Lamp crashing the game
Duradan 15 Dec, 2022 @ 8:47pm
Most of the mod works fine, however the Iron Lamppost crafted by the Engineer has an effect issue and will cause the game to crash! Avoid crafting or using it if you want to use the mod! - Ace Discord

This mod crash the game.
Collapses the game to the taskbar. No unlocking options

Mimzie 7 Aug, 2019 @ 5:24pm
this mod currently working with ACE? and are there any new mods that people have encountered issues with? thanks!

Does this mod add like 10 types of wood to the game? I like the aesthetics of the different colored wood, but wish I could just use any wood for it.

Partly because you can't stop your hearthlings from using specific wood, I might buy cactus logs, but my carpenter will use it for regular wood chairs.

@Dantonamo - If you still have issues please send me a copy of the stonehearth.log file from the stonehearth directory so that I can look for any type of errors. Thanks.
Dantonamo 22 Jul, 2018 @ 4:06pm
Okay it might be just me then. Ill re install
Thundersmack  [author] 22 Jul, 2018 @ 1:44pm
@Dantonamo - I cannot find any errors and the Fine Stone Tables are both placable and sellable. I also have Settlement and HSH mods enabled.
Dantonamo 15 Jul, 2018 @ 6:48pm
Settlement Decor and Home Sweet Home mods. everything else is a map mod.
Thundersmack  [author] 15 Jul, 2018 @ 5:59pm
@Dantonamo - Which other mods do you have running?
Dantonamo 14 Jul, 2018 @ 9:26pm
I dont know what it is but something in this mod clashes with another mod that lets you make Fine Stone Tables. My mason builds them and never puts them in inventory so I can never sell them.

is the lag issue still active with this mod.

after a while i'd notice things would lag out quite a bit...
which kinda sucks as im on a i7 4790 with a GTX970.... and 32GB of ram ='<

anyways after doing a clean install and checking each job i install one at a time,
i noticed comments made about lag that seems to be similiar to the ones ive been having
so it got me curious
Nuckelnase 18 Jun, 2018 @ 10:50am
Yes, it was the base game. We talked about it on discourse :)
Malkaar 18 Jun, 2018 @ 8:38am
I've seen this lag issue happen without the mod (only just downloading it for first time now and recognize from comments i had this issue) - I played with other mods like Better Storage etc. so consider that it might be the core game with a memory leak or other mods as well.
Thundersmack  [author] 21 May, 2018 @ 4:24pm
Please list the other mods you are attempting to use in conjunction with Finery
The Lovely Smile 21 May, 2018 @ 10:33am
I cannot use it with other mods(Decoration type) at the same time....
Nuckelnase 19 May, 2018 @ 1:50am
If I close and open the game everytime this happens I won't have the chance to play at all. x.x
Anyways, turned out the problem is more the game itself, not really the mod.
When When And Yeah. 18 May, 2018 @ 4:45pm
the ui prblem it is just to re open the game when ever it happen... .should work
Nuckelnase 14 May, 2018 @ 1:26am
(damn limit)

I deactivated the finery and only play with some other mods for item variations. And these ones don't seem to kill the game that much. Will try a few scenarios and see what happens. log file will follow then :)

I deactivated mods that add items to the game, only left biomes active (but didnt play). Lowered graphics since I read many complains about lag with the base game.
I think I also reinstalled the whole game once.
The reason why I believe it is the finery mod is that as soon as I use the mod the UI, especially for the carpenter, is almost collapsing. At some point I get the sound you usually get when you open a crafting menu but it takes a while until the UI really appears. And when I want to craft something the game needs again a lot of time before anything happens. And that is getting worse and worse. I think the UI might be kinda "overloaded" since there are A LOT of new craftitems :D Sometimes I can't even click anything properly. Even pressing ESC takes a lot of time before the menu shows up.
Thundersmack  [author] 13 May, 2018 @ 6:03pm
Nuckelnase ٩(๏̯๏)۶. Sorry you are experiencing lag but just as a question what troubleshooting steps have you tried to determine that correlates to the Finery mod? In order to do any troubleshooting I will probably need your machine specs as well as the stonehearth.log file to see what might be going on.
Nuckelnase 13 May, 2018 @ 7:13am
I love the mod and I don't want to play without it but I get heavy lags while using it :( The crafting UI for example lags badly when I open it. Starts already when I have ~10 heartlings and gets worse every minute so I stopped playing.
Is there anything you can do with some kind of a fix? Do you need specific information I could give you?
Really good job, tho. Looks awesome and adds variety I really missed :)
Dr@g0n 11 May, 2018 @ 3:38pm
realy enjoying this mod
Thundersmack  [author] 11 May, 2018 @ 3:29pm
Glad to hear it. Additional items will be coming soon.
Absolute Madman✨ 10 May, 2018 @ 5:23pm
One of the, if not the best addition mod out there. This makes a hall of heros possible and gives you more items that look fitting for a high standard of living town.
Asken 20 Apr, 2018 @ 3:00am
