Also thank you for making the Deus ex ost, It literally never leaves my load order as noting tops that main menu music 🤟
And thanks for enjoying this mod as it is and the suggestion in general!
Good question! There's an incompatibility between the Music Restoration mod and the Music Modding System. This means it probably will do one of three things:
1. MMS overrides music restoration. So you'll hear this mod's music.
2. Music Restoration overrides MMS.
3. The game will crash.
I'm curious what will take precedence so feel free to let me know in another comment if you give it a go. It should be based off a load order but the load order in XCOM is... weird and unpredictable. So it might be different for other people too.
First of all, thank you for the detailed feedback, I appreciate knowing which tracks are best for people, if only out of curiosity.
There's a few reasons why I won't be adding Mankind Divided tracks, and for simplicity's sakes lemme just list 'em.
1. There's a mod already made by E3245 that adds Mankind Divided's soundtrack, and I don't like going into other people's "zone" with regards to modding. If someone's made a mod you don't want to make a mod that does the same thing, right?
2. The Music Modding System is modular, so ANY music mod you add will have a chance for its tracks to play. Therefore, if you wanted to have Mankind Divided tracks play, then just enable both the mod made by E3245 and the mod right here and you've got a Deus Ex cornucopia of cyberpunk!
tl;dr Just enable my mod, MMS, and E3245's soundtrack mod at the same time and you'll have a grand ol' time
I like the 'in the base' ambiance of Human Revolution's OST (The Sarif Industries in particular! LOVE it!), but the music out in the field could benefit from a few more tracks, methinks ;)
I noticed that! I believe that's a problem with the Music Modding System not being 100% compatible with WotC cutscenes, as it happens with any other music mod I've put on (and I've put on loads)
Thanks for the feedback though, I truly do appreciate it. :)
Only critique is that it tends to play over cutscenes.
Don't know if it's on your end or the music modding system...
Regardless, in spite of that, still HIGHLY enjoyable!
Good job!
