So survival projected catapult builds don't work unless you build them from scratch nad design along the way.
Bumongus 9 apr, 2019 @ 1:54
Oh... :(
Splitsie  [skapare] 4 apr, 2019 @ 15:25
No, no projectors can project subgrids :(
Bumongus 3 apr, 2019 @ 1:48
DO small ship projectors enable ships with sub grids?
ShyGaymer48 27 mar, 2019 @ 12:34
Yes it does, actually. But I don't want to cheat, lol.
Splitsie  [skapare] 27 mar, 2019 @ 11:14
That shouldn't be possible... I'm not sure what's going on there. Does it paste normally when you do it in creative mode?
ShyGaymer48 27 mar, 2019 @ 0:43
When I click the error away the projection is in large grid. I don't know how to get it to display small grid. I'm using a landing gear and small grid projector and a transformer box. I'm new to this, sorry. I haven't played Space Engineers since before planets were added to the game. :D

to quote the ever wise Capac . . .
Grrrrrrrrr
Splitsie  [skapare] 26 mar, 2019 @ 16:39
You can't do that either, wheels on suspension don't have any attachment points so you'd have to use rotor based wheels to go double wide
JDaremo Fireheart 26 mar, 2019 @ 16:38
Can we still double stack tires to get a dual wheel look, or was that coded out as well?
Haven't tried for a long time.
Splitsie  [skapare] 26 mar, 2019 @ 16:13
It's simply because wheels are a subgrid, I don't think they restricted it for gameplay reasons I suspect it's more tech related.
JDaremo Fireheart 26 mar, 2019 @ 15:27
Really a bugger that the wheels don't even project. I wonder who's bright idea that was.
I can see why they restricted sub-grids (blueprinting a carrier with an Armada of Fighters), but to have wheels restricted as well doesn't make sense.
Splitsie  [skapare] 26 mar, 2019 @ 14:52
You can't project a blueprint with subgrids, what that error is telling you is that the engine nacelles won't be projected since they're part of a subgrid. You'll still get the rest of the tick (minus the wheels which you can add in using the control panel, since wheels are also a subgrid). The only way to get a construction that uses rotors or pistons into your game in its entirety is to paste it in while in creative mode :(
ShyGaymer48 26 mar, 2019 @ 14:22
I tried to use this blueprint to make The Tick but i am having a bit of trouble. When I paste in the blueprint via the projector I am told that multiple grids are not supported and uses the largest grid. How do I get the blueprint to work for small grid? Thanks!

So amazing!!!:steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:

Absolutely love this design and your use of it in your survival series... It inspired me to make my own arachnid vectored thrust rover, this time with 2 extra appendages with armored decoys on the end.

On another note, adding a third thruster to each nacelle makes it a lot more fun to fly, but still encourages driving because it's a battery hog.
Sarelth 16 aug, 2018 @ 7:45
Love the design, but can not get it to work. as far as I can tell I have everything built, via projector, except the vector nacelles, which I just can not wrap my head around, but its early morning and I was up all night. It will not move for me at all. The two LCDs say offline and nothing is reacting. Just vibrates across my base.
Any clue what might be the problem?
ChozoSR388 20 jun, 2018 @ 13:37
Odd; blueprint isn't showing up in the F10 menu.
ChaosOrder 10 maj, 2018 @ 20:48
checked/unchecked, on/off everything just wouldnt turn back on
Splitsie  [skapare] 10 maj, 2018 @ 20:45
Did you hit the switch that makes the battery go into recharge mode? If you do that you'll need to go into the battery in the control panel and switch it back manually if you're not connected to another power source when the button is pressed
ChaosOrder 10 maj, 2018 @ 19:12
i was driving along pushed something and whole thing shut off and no matter what idid i couldnt get it to turn back on, checked and had fuel/power but no matter what i did would not turn back on
Splitsie  [skapare] 23 apr, 2018 @ 17:40
The wheels will turn left/right but not move the vehicle if the park brake is on - look for the P symbol in the bottom right of your hud to check, or press P to park/unpark. If I'm uploading a blueprint for a wheeled vehicle I'll normally have the park brake on when I take the blueprint :)
Rovera 23 apr, 2018 @ 15:41
not sure why but every rover I try to use doesn't move. I can move wheels and do everything but getting them to spin doesn't work. Is there a binding i need to set or somthing?
Splitsie  [skapare] 22 apr, 2018 @ 21:29
Thanks, glad you're enjoying it :)
Lord Wraith SOL3 22 apr, 2018 @ 21:15
late comer to the series but enjoying it never the less, nice to see the tick out and about on it's own lol, keep up the good work :steamhappy:

Looks good, Splitsie
Been watching your vids, and I love them.
Splitsie  [skapare] 20 apr, 2018 @ 22:31
Thanks :)
Even though this is a mishmash of different things and doesn't do any of them very well, I still love the little blue bug :P
Dr. Distortion 20 apr, 2018 @ 17:59
I love this little vehicle, great job on the survival series man!
Splitsie  [skapare] 20 apr, 2018 @ 16:54
Why yes!
