There will always be an interest.

Torchlight is one of those games that, even after taking a break from, people inevitably end up returning to it at some point.

If you build it, they will come :B1:

Would you recommend this for a persone just starting out ? I've gotten to the point that i'm sick of mmo's and other online games having such easy to kill mobs.
DiZeroX 10 Jan, 2018 @ 9:01pm
I'm interested :)

I've been getting into Torchlight 2 again recently, and if people are sitll interested, I'll overhaul this mod, since a lot of work needs to be done to it!

Which bosses are affected by this mod? Also, does the mod work with TL2 version 1.25.5.2? It says that it's not compatible with the latest version of the game.

Sounds good.

This hasn't been updated in a long while - I've since quit playing Torchlight 2. If I return to it I will certainly give it an overhaul :)

Does it work in multiplayer/Koop?
Gronash 21 Jan, 2014 @ 11:59pm
Playing on elite berserk passing Grella something has not felt no challenge.
Bosses need to add more extras mobs, mobs around that would create more problems by killing the boss.
That would cut down the crowds and mobs very disturbed killing boss.
And on the boss mobs in that it had not been the experience.

Thanks dude, appreciated

today i played torchlight2 and felt embarrassed "is the dragon in vyrax tower so strong like this?"
at that time i noticed i had installed this boss brutality mod!!
thanks to this mod, my death number increased sharply but i had much fun :)

"This mod is compatible with the popular SynergiesMOD, of which I am a massive fan of, however there should be no conflicts with any other mods."

Is this accurate? It seems to say that it works with Synergies, but also works with everything else. The phrasing confuses me. Does it work with Synergies or not? Absolutely not trying to be rude or anything—just trying to puzzle this out. :)

I'd like to know if this mod affects the mapwork bosses too?
Or does it only affect the story bosses?
Thank you!

Have you considered using the movement and attackspeed as the points at which you increase their difficulty instead of just increasing their armor and hp? As a necromancer armor does nothing to stop my damage and HP just makes the bosses take forever to kill. I have been trying to find a boss overhaul mod that instead of making the bosses just take longer but also stick to you and really hit fast. So you gotta kite like mad and really avoid their attacks to win.
Kaboom! 24 Apr, 2013 @ 9:15am
thanks mate, i'll try your mod tonight and report back.
Alekzandr 7 Apr, 2013 @ 2:54am
Where do i find this thing?
garfield  [author] 5 Apr, 2013 @ 10:16am
As of now, the loot and XP have not been changed, but I will implement that ASAP!
Good idea btw, I'm new to modding but i'll try to add something like that
Zero the Hero 5 Apr, 2013 @ 8:51am
Were loot and XP adequate to the new monsters?

By the way, I would love to see a MOD like yours that could make mobs spread to surround the player allowing it to try counter overpowered char buildings like "cannoneer" wich relies heavily on the linear behavior of the AI regarding pathfinding.
garfield  [author] 5 Apr, 2013 @ 12:22am
The mod edits the HP, skills, abilities, armour and behaviour of certain mobs; some mobs have even been made larger/smaller to fit their surroundings better, i.e the final boss, the Netherlord changes in size as you battle with it. I will add all the details into the description, thanks for leaving feedback!
Zero the Hero 4 Apr, 2013 @ 9:38pm
Can you give us a more detailed description? For example: how does it make the mobs more difficult? Increasing HP? Giving skills to the minions? Making bosses with über auras to support their "children"? Simply increasing mob numbers?
