Thanks for posting the same thing 7 times repeatedly. This isn't going to get fixed because TpF2 is on the way and by the looks of it you know how to fix it for yourself.
tsilaicosneknurd 10 Nov, 2019 @ 7:46am
not working (on non windows systems)
3 errors in file res/config/multiple_unit/LSWR_X2_reversed.lua lines 4-6
{ name = "vehicle/Waggon/artic_coach_end.mdl", forward = false },
{ name = "vehicle/Waggon/artic_coach_middle.mdl", forward = true },
{ name = "vehicle/Waggon/artic_coach_end.mdl", forward = true },

the folder "vehicle/Waggon" doesn't exist, correct path is "vehicle/waggon"
mgb 28 May, 2019 @ 11:30pm
Some filesystems and operating systems are case sensitive. res/config/multiple_unit/articulated_coach.lua is looking for vehicle/Waggon/artic_coach_end.mdl (and others) but the actual directory/folder is "waggon" not "Waggon".

This mod has been fixed for about 2 months now, seems odd that only you are getting an error. I can't really suggest a fix either because you have given no detail about what the error is.

All I can suggest is start a game up with no mods but this one and see if it works. If not, unsubscribe and re-subscribe again.
El Presidente 29 Apr, 2019 @ 12:01am
Didn't fix it.The vehicle/wagon/artic_coach_end.mdl does not exist Except I found it on HD, so the game seems confused.
El Presidente 28 Apr, 2019 @ 11:30pm
I got a mod error but it looks like others did to. I will go try the fix with the other mod.
power man 11 Jan, 2019 @ 9:01am
hey life happens and we have to deal with it.

like i said take your time with your mods and you'll have less stress as well as more winners than losers mod wise.
Steve Emfore  [author] 11 Jan, 2019 @ 8:58am
No worries, it was all my doing anyway, I mixed some wheel axles up between the two mods and they were looking for wheelset that didn't exist.

Can't all be winners.
power man 11 Jan, 2019 @ 8:56am
thanks for the fix, my game is working now as it should without problems.

much appreciated, it seems it was the GNR A1 and teak set that was causing problems.

many thanks and have a good weekend:steamhappy:
Steve Emfore  [author] 10 Jan, 2019 @ 10:12pm
HI dude, sorry I accidentally binned your post, didn't even know I could do that.

Looks like that error's from another mod, un-subscribe and re-subscribe to the GNR Teak Coach mod, as I issued a patch for that also as there was compatibility issues if someone had the old version of one of the mods.
SplayEye015 10 Jan, 2019 @ 7:05pm
Any ETA on the update?
power man 10 Jan, 2019 @ 9:08am
i dont really need an immediate fix, im patient to wait as i understand how stressful life is
power man 10 Jan, 2019 @ 9:04am
thank you for advice, maybe take things slowly as it will lead to unnecessary stress if you rush
as i heard some people have quit due to stress and unforgiving players.

have a good, stress free evening

Steve Emfore  [author] 10 Jan, 2019 @ 8:58am
Don't worry, it seems I have forgotten to name one of my axle parameters again. However if you want an immediate fix, its trying to use the wheels from one of my GNR Teak coaches, if you're subscribed to that you should be ok (place the A1 last in the mod order just to be safe)
power man 10 Jan, 2019 @ 8:56am
thanks, to be honest it made me worried my game was going to break
Steve Emfore  [author] 10 Jan, 2019 @ 8:49am
Cheers for the heads up, I'll take a look. Usually these errors are found in testing. I'll issue an update this evening.
power man 10 Jan, 2019 @ 8:47am
here's more info

File: vehicle/waggon/artic_coach_end.mdl

railVehicle/configs/axles:mesh'vehicle/waggon/compartment_car/lod_0_w1.msh' does not exist

sorry for delay

Steve Emfore  [author] 9 Jan, 2019 @ 11:08am
Can you please give me more information
power man 9 Jan, 2019 @ 9:26am
got an error says wagon does not exist:steamsad:
Steve Emfore  [author] 6 Jan, 2019 @ 10:35pm
Fixed LOD axles of the coaches and the capitalisation issue. Thanks for letting me know guys
Steve Emfore  [author] 6 Jan, 2019 @ 10:18pm
@autocoach thanks for letting me know, I'm on the case
Autocoach 6 Jan, 2019 @ 1:49pm
Error concerning missing axle lods for the coaches crashes the game for me.
Steve Emfore  [author] 6 Jan, 2019 @ 1:40pm
The coaches are close-coupled. They are butting right up against eachother. Sadly the icons don't really convey that as well as I would have liked.
Autocoach 6 Jan, 2019 @ 1:10pm
Not only the issue noted by BOT Parrot but the thumbnail of the coaches looks odd , as if they are over the top of one another .
z0g 6 Jan, 2019 @ 9:34am
This mod is great! Thanks for your work.

It fails to load on Linux though as the file names are case sensitive.

Easy fix is to change "Waggons" to "waggons" in articulated_coach.lua
Steve Emfore  [author] 5 Jan, 2019 @ 10:23am
I have put out a HUGE update for this mod, please let me know as soon as you can if it does anything to your saves, I have done a lot of testing but I do not want to break so many savegames.
Oldhip 27 Dec, 2018 @ 12:00am
Do you have any more stats please ?
LordNRG 5 Sep, 2018 @ 2:17pm
Heya, nice little engine here.
I was wondering why the front is black all the way down to the first large wheel? I can't for the life of me find any pictures of an A1 painted like that.
Also, a small request - Since this has a faster top speed than the Vanilla Scotsman, would you be able to tweak the scotsman to match it?
Bob the Fat Fish 23 Jul, 2018 @ 10:24am
Also could you make the train look cleaner it still looks filthey like the base model?
Bob the Fat Fish 22 Jul, 2018 @ 7:39pm
But also if you put the British and Irish logo mod on and you have the LNER seletied the train will still treat it as if those horrid german style smoke deflectors are there. I mean those German smoke defeletors have no plave on a Gresly throughbreed. I mean the smoke defeltors look good on German locos but not a thoighrough bread of Gresly caliber.
Bob the Fat Fish 22 Jul, 2018 @ 10:31am
Just what I wanted thanks mate.
Northerner Transport Hub 8 Jun, 2018 @ 10:29pm
some really great work here.
we should get thomas the tank engine on TF soon!
Dubsoldier 8 Jun, 2018 @ 1:44pm
I know this is a bit nitpicky, but it was developed by the Great Northern, and was called just the A1, and only that. The A1/1 is a completely different loco. The term 'A1/3' is just used to refer to both the A1 and A3 classes, which were very similar.
CunkFeatures 14 May, 2018 @ 12:05pm
Urban did a good job with the A3 though, deflectors or not.
Steve Emfore  [author] 5 May, 2018 @ 2:15pm
Planning to fix the blank thumbnail soon.
Jabbman 4 May, 2018 @ 5:03am
Yeah I've got a blank for the thumbnail image too. Great work on the mod!
Tordenskjold 3 May, 2018 @ 1:47pm
This train don't show up in the Line Manager - Only a blue
square
Steve Emfore  [author] 2 May, 2018 @ 11:52am
Unintentional update I'm afraid. Still learning the process of uploading mods.
Killerbin 2 May, 2018 @ 11:50am
What did the update do ?
Bocaan 2 May, 2018 @ 6:05am
now i can have a flying scotsman refit along side its original class :)
geoffersh 1 May, 2018 @ 5:23am
Nice to see another British loco for TF, but appart fron showing the black smokebox extending to the first boiler segment, it lacks any identification as far as the number on the cabside and nameplate of the loco is concerned, other wise it could do with a bit more detailing. Other than that, well done.
MarkyT 30 Apr, 2018 @ 7:06am
danielbradfordnew - Yes Peter is my Dad, and he's still with us at 92 years of age, only a year younger than Flying Scotsman itself! At Kings Cross he had a whole fleet of A3s and A4s under his control including FS and Mallard. He trained as an premium engineering apprentice at Doncaster where these fine engines had been designed and built and worked in the locomotive design office in the 1940s. There was no future in that after the war though so he moved into 'traffic' (operations management) and ran a series of depots as 'shedmaster' culminating in Kings Cross Top Shed until the end of steam in the early 1960s.
Gadg8eer 29 Apr, 2018 @ 8:37pm
I wish someone would put the streamlined siding back on the A4. There was a mod for Train Fever that did it but it hasn't been updated like the creator said they would 2 years ago.
babylon218 28 Apr, 2018 @ 3:32pm
Thank you so much for this! I'm currently doing an ECML run, so this is perfect for me!
Damocles 28 Apr, 2018 @ 1:19pm
Love seeing more british locos appearing
Tordenskjold 28 Apr, 2018 @ 1:09pm
danielbradfordnew 28 Apr, 2018 @ 11:51am
MarkyT May we all bask in the reflected glory of your Dad, esteemed railwayman Mr Peter Townend?

M4, I really like the look of this. If I may suggest, the power rating looks a little low (the original A3 model was credited with 2,500 hp if memory serves), and maybe the top speed should be nudged down to create more of an upgrade to the A3? As I say, otherwise, good work. Who knows? Eventually, we'll have the entire LNER Pacific family to play with on TF...
Lipinski14D 28 Apr, 2018 @ 9:13am
sweet
Killerbin 28 Apr, 2018 @ 9:04am
I see British Locos I subscribe.
MarkyT 28 Apr, 2018 @ 7:59am
The black smokebox colour should not extend back onto the first section of boiler cladding. Otherwise a great job. The model was incorrect with single chimney and smoke deflectors. I'd also like to see an alternate version in late BR condition with a double chimney and deflectors and finished in the BR dark green, like Flying Scotsman is today. My Dad got these locos fitted with the big double chimneys in the late 1950s when he was the depot manager at London Kings Cross, and they included an advanced exhaust system called a 'Kylchap' which, despite a fatter output blastpipe, used a series of conical cowls inside the smokebox to draw the fire better, which saved coal and increased power output. The trouble was that with the lower backpressure the exhaust was also softer so smoke and steam drifted down into the drivers' forward view when running at speed. Dad suggested the German syle deflectors that solved the problem.
