Is there a way to make it compatible with the LW2 Secondary ?

What should be done to remove the restrictions that this mod creates for the Secondary Weapons mod? I want to have such an officer in my game, but because of this mod, my "any fighters", thanks to another mod, cannot use the Holotargeter, given that you can equip them beforehand...

Hi this mod is abandoned so I can't help anyone with bugs / issues. Feel free to reupload if you want to edit it.

Taking a long shot as I know this is no longer being worked on, but on the xcomgamedate.ini i have a cooldown set, and global cooldown set, but seems leadership still only has one charge?
Did I mess this up?

I have the Training Center requirement disabled but it still won't let me train without a training center.

i assume this is abandoned? if not could the summoned troopers not get counted towards mission stats like soldiers lost i like getting flawless wins if i can but it makes it so using the ability is a bad idea

I was ready to subscribe. Till i read "whattheshmitty" post. Unfortunatelly i dont like such changes.

Neat mod, it would have just been nice to let people know that you changed the rate at which soldiers gain ability points in the configuration files. Suddenly my soldiers started gaining extra points on promotions and I did not know why. And you also disabled the training center requirements, which for a moment I was so confused because I did not know why I could pick more than one perk per promotion suddenly. Other than my gripes, good stuff.

I'm with Flashstriker. I know there's a mod that adds more faction classes, and this would make sense to to be added to skirmishers.

I love this class, but thematically and practically I think it would work better as an alternate Hero Class for the Skirmishers. Thats probably just me tho. Love it and keep up the great work!

@💀🕷Slate Spear🕷💀 All you need to do is subscribe to this mod and it should show up as a soldier class. If you have subscribed to the other mod I made (the RPG Overhaul one) then disable it as you are not supposed to use both together.

OhHowIWishICouldAim-I was wondering the same thing as well. Resistance or any other would be cool. Just the summon ability in itself is awesome.

Is there any way to make the officer summon either rookies or resistance soldiers instead of ADVENT troopers? Kind of ruins the immersion to have your XCOM soldier summon an ADVENT trooper to help out lol.

At times when spawning advent soldiers it crashes the game completely for some reason. Doesn't seem to have rhyme or reason for it, even going so far as to work or not work at random turns during the same mission.

cant u not just give him the lw secondary holotargeter and delete it from ur files? Should be the easiest way.

@Avalon I know how to make it compatible and that would require a rewrite of the holotargetter code. At some point I want to do this however I would rather work on getting the other classes completed before doing something like that

I love this class mod! The abilites are usefull and fun to use at the same time.

Have you considered an end game ability that basically calls in a group of basic reinforcements? As in, you use the ability, the red reinforcements flair appears where you select, and a turn later the Advent reinforcement animation plays and drops off a random group of cheap early-game Advent troops. In a way it could be ballanced by revealing the team when the tranport arrives, and the dropped troops only haveing one action for the first turn. Maybe too much for this class, but I could see it for perhaps an Advent General class.

Either way, great mod and I hope to see more in the future!

Would be cool if you could bring in a squad of 3(or more through ini edit?) advent soldiers at once with this officer. Like an ability that costs an absurd amount of AP.

@GUA The way this mod is designed right now it is not currently possible to change what unit is summoned using a .ini change, you would have to modify X2Effect_PASpawnTrooperMk2.uc which would require recompiling the mod. So you can't do it without using the mod tools

This mod has issues with the advent names mod. Specifically with the Disposable Army ability. When you call them it fails to display their health bar correctly. (May not be your mods fault but just letting you know thats whats happening with these 2 mods active.)

@Heff I understand that thanks for the explination. I would argure its not a small number that would find it useful. It seems like most players don't have WOTC but I full understand your reason. Surely I'm at least going to subscribe so I have it when I do get WOTC at least :)

@The Usurper Unfortunately that would require recoding a large portion of the mod. Firstly some of the skills are War of the Chosen dependent such as the two Skirmisher abilities used so those would have to be recreated. On top of that vanilla XCom 2 does not have an AP system so you would only be able to obtain one skill per promotion. So I'm sorry but I think it would be too much work for what would only be useful to a small number of the playerbase

@evilerevilhero Yes I am planning on making a Shieldbearer, Stunlancer, Purifier and Priest.

@receehlert You can edit the amount of extra charges given by the Battalion skill to increase how many troopers that can be called in. You can edit BATTALION_BONUS_CHARGES in XComGameData.ini in the mod folder.
The folder path should be: \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1379390769\Config

can u not just use "mark target" instead of holotarget? what i know is the holotarget from lw just works one turn. "mark target" 3 turns (or 2?) like ur modified holotarget ,

Hmmm sad since i really wanted to try. You could try to make one based on the lw weapon pack so both work together. But it's up to you and won't make any demands. you prob spend enough time already making this wonderfull mod.

To the people asking about making this class work for Skirmishers, it's something I will consider but right now there are more important things that need fixing that I want to proritize. I don't know how I could do it however without making it a seperate mod.

@Dragonborn This mod has it's own holotargetter based on the holotargetter code from LW2 so it will conflict with LW Secondary Weapons. The result of using both at the same time will change depending on which mod is called by the system first since both mods modify the same values. Anyway I don't think it will cause it to crash but I've only tested it for 10 minutes, I know that some things may not work correctly. I would advise against doing it however, at least if you value your save file.

Just wondering. i'm using LW Secondary Weapons for class mods. Why wouldn't it work ? I'm fav it until i'm sure it won't break my heavy modded game XD. Cool mod btw
