@GRanger75: Probably. Idk if I would disable it in an on-going save that was started with it (although it probably won't crash), but enabling it in a save started without it should be fine. You still might to want to use a different save file afterwards, just in case.

@Jimbobjolene: Spymaster already affects the chance. And it already is possible to assassinate other countries' consorts. Just for your own nation I didn't include it since I didn't really see a reason for doing that.

@LimonenZitrone First love the mod. Second, is it possible that in a future update consort assassination be added as a feature as well as more features to improve chances such as having a spy master or espionage ideas?

For some reason, the mod does not work for me, it is installed, it says that it is activated, I turn on the game, select the country, open the corresponding window in Cover action and there is nothing there, version 1.36 all mods are disabled except this one, what could be the reason?

It's always several thousand gold even as OPM, a tweak would be nice. I love your mods btw!

I think it's a bit too expensive, idk if it's supposed to be like that or a bug. In your screenshots there are prices around 300g but for me it always takes at least 750-3000g just to choose the method, regardless of the country or the date

Launcher says it's up to date but there's no decision in game. Is it compatible with the current version?

I checked the files for this mod and found that files were lasted changed (my local copy) on 9/29/2020 which means that they should be updated with whatever changes you made in your last update

It happens for which ever is the most likely to succeed. The rest just show their given chance.

@Stuff: Does it happen for all of those? Since I added hidden_trigger sections to (at least afaik) all of those. If it's a few, maybe I overlooked them, so I would be glad to know which ones exactly. If it happens for all, your version of the mod might just not have updated :/

The localization could use some work as with the latest update to eu4, the text for the best option to assassinate the target is showing a lot more than it should

@floris.luc.witjes: The Buy a Province mod should be. The better HRE mod isn't, as it already uses changes of 1.30, like imperial incidents and the new HRE GUI with the DLC reforms.

@floris.luc.witjes: I don't have an older version, but it should still work with 1.29. At least I don't remember anything that would break it right now.

Hey, Lemonporn, could we have a downright cheaty version that makes it so the AI doesn't use it on the player and ONLY against the player? I was hoping to make the game a bit easier to teach friends how Unions work and this would be absolutely perfect for such a thing, but I don't want the AI to fuck with people I'm teaching.

I dont know if i have done something but it was working a few days ago and today it doesnt. No other mods installed. The diplomatic option to assassinate doesnt show up neither does the option to kill own ruler.

@Harbivore: It does work for me on 1.28.

@DutchCraft: I actually don't know. If your ruler is only not going to die from age, but can die in battles or from events, then he's threatened, otherwise not.

If your ruler is immortal is he still in danger?

@Emperor Jason: Do you meet the requirements for the action to be visible? If so try to click on another country to get the diplomatic actions for that country and then go back to the target you want to plan the assassination on, sometimes the game doesn't show diplomatic actions otherwise.
If you still can't see it, check if the workshop downloaded it correcty, since currently it tends to download empty or broken zips.

I'm not seeing the "Plan assassination" button showing up under covert actions. I'm using the current version, and the only other mod I have installed is Countries Can Collapse 2.0 Beta
