I don't have the game installed anymore, so I can't help. If I ever get back to ARK, I'll probably rebuild this mod from the ground up.

The Fjordur map its officialy out and this mod still doesn't work..is there any fix to it ?

@[The] Force Yeah, it would seem that way. I am going to test it once again when Fjordur official launches in less than 2 weeks. Hoping that will work so I don't have to handcraft all my own supply drop loot tables from scratch like it currently is on my mod map version. xD

@Wishbone I'm 90% sure that Fjordur has it's own unique Loot crates (cause of the textures) and therefore doesn't pull from the "standard" tables which this would use, unfortunately. This means the mod does nothing to Fjordur without a fix by someone or a workaround by Fjordur, though when Fjordur is an official map it will likely work fine xD

We like the mod, but its a little OP. I'm tinkering with the .ini thru our Nitrado interface. Will adjusting the supply crate loot quality also adjust the quality in your mod?

I haven't played the game in ages, so someone else will have to verify. As far as I know the mod still works, I just can't update it.It would probably be easier to just rebuild it at this point :/

So is the mod broken or is it only your dev install kit that was having issues?

Been playing on Fjordur mod map and it doesn't seem like this affects it at all, sadly. Seems like vanilla drops where you're always getting useless low lvl engram/blueprints/etc.

Update:Ark Dev Kit install was corrupted and just throws errors whenever I try to repair it. Unlikely I will have the time or energy to solve the problem(s) and upload a new version. Sorry folks.

Okay, my plan is to get a working update out some time after the new map info is added to the dev kit so those saddles can be added. I'm also sadly limited just because I don't often get days off right now. I would however like to improve the balance of drops though, so I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback!

I would also greatly appreciate a higher drop chance for "Boss Saddles" if that is somehow possible. Because I also play now over a month with your mod and am actually very excited but so far I have drawn thousands of saddles for Scorched earth and others (I play only on The Island) but not a single Rex saddle, very frustrating. I hope you get the problem with the ARK Editor under control and we can soon look forward to an updated mod.

Took some time, but got one good blueprint by now. Still the only one related to bossfights. So they do drop from red drops, but you have to be double lucky to get one in the first place and then lucky to get the item you need.

That's a fair point about the saddles. The more feedback like that I get the more likely I am to change things. Saddle drops are rather large lists of equal chance, so getting specific types is hard. It would probably make sense to add weights to them so more popular/boss fight saddles have a higher chance of spawning.

I understand. By now I atleast found 2 red drops, so they do spawn, but VEEEERY rarely tho. My concern was just that I get spammed with crossbows etc. Not a problem there, because they're mostly from purple drops and below. Just that I can't find any decent Rex-saddle blueprint in any drops and red ones are so incredibly rare, makes bossfights even more tough. Well, it is what it is. Atleast I get sth. better than being spammed with crop plots and water jars.

Correction: I haven't yet updated the mod since the ARK editor just crashed on me while trying to compile. I'll try compiling it again later and seeing if I have to do anything. I haven't played the game in ages so a little out of touch.

@EMP I've tweaked the rarity of drops to be higher on average, but I don't 100% know the math (just that I tried to do the same for all LootItemSets I edited). My intention was to reduce the grind. I'm more concerned if you find that you can't obtain an descendant quality item than anything mid-tier. There are also variables like server settings that adjust item spawn quality which might affect this, so I'm not 100% in control here.

@SchwitzendesLama Thank you for pointing this out. I did indeed make a mistake and assault rifle ammo only showed up in higher level beacons. I've added the ammo to the mid tier ammo drops and changed the weights around so it should be more practical. Hopefully that helps!

There are litteraly no red drops on the island (singleplayer). Like none. Havent seen a single one in aobut 15h of playtime (while drophunting over the last days tho).

Hey I love this mod it does what it should and works flawlessly. But can it be that you forgot to add the assault rifle ammo? I have so many loot boxes already flown from white to red have all kinds of armor all weapons including assault rifles pulled also any ammunition especially shot cartridges in abundance but not a single cartridge for the assault rifle. Is this a mistake or am I just incredibly unlucky?

It's possible, but unlikely. I'm not actively playing at the moment, but maybe I'll check out the map in the future. Adding location info for mod maps is a little more work than official DLC.

Any chance of adding cave note support for the Hope map? It is the only map I know of which includes nearly all content from all DLC's without being larger than the Island, without sky islands and such, and without the need for mods to add anything in the way of dinos/resources.

Since the Genesis update, only primitive equipment spawns. Have read that Wildcard has increased the quality but again have messed up. Currently no beacon mod works properly. Before the update, everything worked fine, so you can only hope that they patch it. One has the feeling with each patch and each Dlc come 100 new bugs in the game....

It seems that everything is working fine now, it was as you said. Vanilla had a bug in which every blueprint was primitive. Great mod btw :)

Apparently primitive item drops is a vanilla bug being worked on. Nothing I can do but wait to see what Wildcard does.

Hi, I have been using this mod in my server on The Island map. So far item loot from beacons has been nice, but regarding the blueprints is it normal that there are literally just primitve blueprints? We haven't received any blueprint with better quality than primitve, but I don't know if this is intended in the mod. Also the caves crates are giving the same type of blueprint.

Thanks for the info. When I get a chance I'll check it out. If it's just that map they may have figured out how to make custom beacons. Or there is a mod conflict. Not much I can do in either case sadly.

seems that something blocked the mod in any way. Loot table is completely crap, and you find most only blueprints. Finding crafted items is very rare. Same in Cave or Ocean Crates. I dont know if the problem occur on other maps too.

This mod cuts out the work of editing loot tables for the most part, and I'm grateful for it. It makes beacons remain relevant up until the very end.
One criticism I have is that I personally don't think the artifact notes are very useful all the time, given that some people play on modded maps, and others simply look up locations. So if you ever figure out .ini settings, I hope there's one for that feature.

The beacon is closed when only 1 or 2 items are removed from the beacon.
Even if there are 7 items, it will disappear automatically when you take out 1 or 2 items.
