mannn, I feel so bad for the Concorde, it was such a fast and nice plane, despite how much money tickets were, was a really nice plane, despite the crashes, I wanna make it come back!

@Quince99 It would, but they would have had to license it from Airbus to use the name and design in a commercial product.Since it's UG's original game files, that's where re-distributing them also becomes a bit of an issue. For them and us.

I can't fault them for removing it, really. It wasn't a particularly good fit for the game, generally being unable to get to the speeds it was capable of because of the map sizes. I'd say a lot of the new aircraft were good choices.

Thanks for getting back to me - that's useful to know. I hadn't realised there had been a Concorde up before. Will look into that and see if I can find anything out. Of course it would have been far simpler had UG simply put the Concorde into the new game!

@Quince99 You can do whatever the heck you like for your own use, that's my view. :)
If you mean to release it, someone did convert the first games Concorde earlier, but it was taken down within a few days. UG might not be too keen on having their models ported between games and put on the workshop, possibly because of licensing issues, so that's something to keep in mind. In those situations, its probably better to encourage and help people to do the converting themselves.

I've converted the UG Concorde from TPF1 to TPF2 for my own game and I wondered whether you'd let me use your BA skin in addition to the default skin please? You'll have full credit for your work obviously and I may try and do the early BA livery when first in service.

Saw one Fly in to Bermuda when I was stationed there in the mid 80s (1985 I think) was cool to see it come in for a landing and the nose tip down. It was way smaller than I thought it would be but was very nice inside. Few of us went over and the pilot let up on board and look around. As a pay back we had a training flight going on and we took the guy on a short flight around Bermuda in our P-3 Orion.

I think you should investigate into Irish equipment. Specifically rail. Ireland has/had some very interesting rail equipment.

A shame that Concorde is no longer flying, it was a real showstopper. I live in Surrey, not too far from Heathrow, just outside the World's largest carpark (M25) and loved watching it flying overhead, and it was a beautiful sight to see too.
