Thank you for the information! I look forward to whatever you have planned! I love your mods

Unless Darkstar lets me, a direct-part isn't possible.
However, TIEs do allow normal block placements, so I usually just stick one on the hull.
The TIE Defender design \ Blueprint \ Kit will also be getting a redesign, to account for better placement methods in the future.

I'm assuming this doesn't have shields since it doesn't rely on the defense shields mod. It would be great to get a tie part that acted as shields

The wings are not perfect, but damn is it beautiful anyway!
Thank you Kreeg!!!

Maybe increase the angle for the struts a bit more. You could probably make left and right slanted wings with the new block texture system- have the left wing use default texture and the right wing use the clean texture or something.

Rotors = Clang, and 3 grids per fighter
I deliberately avoided creating rotor multi-grids.
Hence why It's not a rotor; Rotors are easily bad for preformance.

I'm still tweaking the visuals themselves however.

Or use the angle but just with intersepter style wings instead like this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1482507703&searchtext=Tie+defender

Just use rotors to make the angle then it is counted as a separate entity so you can clip the wings on.

Yes the Wings were meant to be 3 angles in the original.
This tripled the tailored blocks, since the Defender's weapon array is 3 entire types of weapons across each wing, on the very same angle.
So instead, they're straight, while the Struts are Angled.
Which makes it easier to use the Defender Wings, and allows the wings to fit any gun.

i dont want to sound mean or anything but aren't the wings sepost to be on an angle?
