@xnadu27 Yes, EAC: At War modifies Stellaris\gfx\interface\planetview\army_icons.dds, so it is not compatible with Just Army Icons.

Apparently EAC: At War conflicts with this mod. Unfortunate.

I'll have a look when I can and get back to you.

@Maff That's odd for sure. This mod changes only one file: .\Stellaris\gfx\interface\planetview\army_icon.dds

Anything else that touches that file could cause the conflict.

If you can't find the conflict, try unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the mod.

I'm trying to figure out what conflicts with this. None of the icons show up ingame for me when i have this active; it's simply stuck at vanilla.

@xnadu27 This replaces the default army icons. If another mod used the default army icons, it will use these instead.

I was thinking of mods that add new armies, but use vanilla icons. I was wondering if this actually overwrote the icons themselves (removed the originals)

@xnadu27 I'm not sure if this will load over other UI mods that affect this very specific graphical resource. Which other mods are you thinking of?

If other mods used the vanilla icons will they be replaced too?

@Blackfyre Great ideas and easy to do. I'll roll some of your suggestions in ASAP.

I really like these, but I am kind of worried about their legibility.. Perhaps include a white circle with a black version of Paradox's old symbol in the lower left hand corner (similar to the star icon)? That way, the soldiers are still represented, but the old icons (that we're all still familiar with) are there for recognizability.. If not that, then perhaps slightly different armor colours or a coloured aura around the various soldiers? Looking good so far though, you're on a roll with all your new mods!
