Does this quay have a sidewalk on top where pedestrians can walk?
Avanya  [author] 29 Mar, 2020 @ 1:50am
@vilamno: No. The reason quays are so thick is because they have to cover the terrain.

Can you make a thinner version of your quay? As many players complain that the vanilla quay is too thick especially looked down from the air.

Thanks

Thank you for this nice quay, I like it a lot!

@baronjutter: That is on my to-do list. Both as a network and as a prop is my plan. I just didn't get a chance to finish those before my thumb got so bad I couldn't do anything. Atm it's recovering from surgery, so hoping to be back in a few weeks, when it's done healing. :)

Hey Avanya, I know you're taking it easy at the moment but when you come back to you think you'd consider releasing the fencing for your quays as props? It would be nice to match areas to them.

@startrekfan1962: Nothing I can do I'm afraid. Quays don't know which way to face when placed away from shorelines. It might help to have a road next to them, I did that in most of my attempts. Otherwise MoveIt and moving nodes around the problem area or the whole thing a tiny bit helps. It's not ideal, but not much to do other than some delicate wiggling if you don't have an actual shoreline.

Yah doesnt work that way for me Overlord.
Overlord 30 Jul, 2018 @ 12:26am
What do you mean by correct side? Every time I placed this quay the fence was on the right place - closer to the outer edge. No matter if I build them on land or near water.
Slik 29 Jul, 2018 @ 6:26pm
Wonderful, but is there nothing you can do to make the fences appear on correct side? I've tried 'moveit' and deleting/replacing but still no good. It's crazy spending more than 3 hours trying to use this as a retaining wall. Any help appreciated.

Hi Avanya, I'm looking forward to your industrial fences :D
Avanya  [author] 4 Jun, 2018 @ 6:01am
@Overlord: Yeah, that happens with them at certain depths sadly. The vanilla quay does it too, though less than mine as mine are thinner. I did all my testing on shorelines and decided this was okay because it would be hidden by the water anyways. Less of a drop or a road near the edge of the bottom will get rid of it.

Hello Avanya. I'm having troubles to hid terrain under this quay like I can do it with vanilla game quay. here is the screenshot https://imgur.com/a/N2HjhPa I cant hid this pieces of land. I tried move the quay I tried to make that part many times right to left and left to right nothing helped. When I'm "aggresive" with the leveling tool terrain hids inside the quay but it also flattens terrain above (behind the quay).

@Banance: I have no plans to make trains for now, sorry.

@oleg.gorchakov.2014: No, because the quay AI doesn't support it. Nothing I can do about that.

Any embankment is valuable only because pedestrians can walk on it. Can your waterfront walking pedestrians?

Hi Avanya. I live in Denmark, and I would like to ask you if you could make this danish train:
The train gets pulled with a Litra ME locomotive:

3.: https://prnt.sc/jn5cxf
The ME locomotive pulls the coaches, Litra ABS:

And here you can see the height:

I really hope you can make it. But only if you have time. Kind regards, Banance :steamhappy:
