i know you said you don't want to "Until it's stable and "finished" " it's 4 years later now and i don't know if you consider it finished as of now

Lol Yes, I'm very aware of the 1x1x5 gatling, used them for my Spearhead Anti-Air tank. I'm just asking to see if it would essentially be possible to make an additional cannon, same as the large grid version, but for small grid and half the length to act as a medium between the two currents.

Regardless if yes or no, this is hands down my most used mod and absolutely love it's current state. Just seeing if there would be a possibility to add this is all 😁.

There is a 1x1x5 block long small block in this mod. Conveyors on 3 sides on it ( left, right, back )

not doing a bertha, sorry, you ask for too much. that would need all new remade models and thats not something we are prepared to do.

Hey quick question... I've got the need of a "Medium" size Cannon for a CIWS turret, the Small Grid one a too small (but still work with some block work) and obviously the Large Grid one is too large. Could you add one for Small Grid, but large enough that would look good for a simple Azimuth rotor and Elevation Hinge? Possibly about as long as 2 or 3 Large Grid blocks? Could base the loading end off a Conveyor Junction, 3x3x3, with two sides being large conveyor ports and the other two sides with a central small port... Maybe a small on the rear side?

Additional, though insanely overkill, make one that's as big as the Big Bertha? Haha. If none of this is possible, I can ask Ravenbolt to fulfill this request, I just absolutely love this version of this amazing Gatling Cannon. This really needs to be vanilla...

I absolutely love this gun, this is how the vanilla Gatling should have been. I'm even more happy withthis mod by finding this version, the original 800m range kinda sucked when you're building a AA gun and/or large weapon batteries. Thank you for this!

@Laef - issue corrected. Thanks - when i updated the mod for progression in Nov I neglected a change oin one of the other files in error. Its now shows properly under Block Weapons again.

@ Aerith - loading issue also corrected.

no worries. Language was poor, I meant that I can't add it to the hotbar as a normal. I was able to add it as a constant shoot toggle, played with it a bit. Ended up just sticking with the regular version due to this one outclassing all the other autocannons.

Hiya, I'm having trouble getting this to reload. It's conveyored up to ammo storage but when the large ship version runs out it won't pull more from cargo.

I recently encountered a problem though... The large ship variant is completely silent since the new update. I tried reinstalling and running it alone, and it's still got no audio. Just FYI.

Thanks for the compliment. I am aware of how weapons core works, but I will not be changing this until WC is fully finished and fully stable.

Using a non weaponcore system of any type alongside any weaponcore rated weapon of any type does not mix. Weapon core guns, fixed or not, may only fire out of one gun, or will fire one round and not be able to reload, etc etc. A shame too, this really is the best small grid ballistic fixed weapon mod on the workshop imo.

I will not be adding weapons core to any of my works at this time. Untill its stable and "finished" I'm not revisiting my weapons mods. Its a fixed point fire projectile weapon not needing WC anyways.

And no, you may not take this and edit / republish it. As it states above in the description.

Any chance the sound for this could be updated to the GAU-8 sound for LG and a minigun sound for SG? The way it sounds now is rather gritty (to me at least)

May be a mod-issue bug then, tried using it with survival and couldn't get it to fire despite having and using ammunition.

Small Block much higher rate of fire - 1200 m range

Large Block ( which doesn't exist in vanilla ) Heavy Damage medium fire rate

Im not going to mess with the small ones sound as that is using the vanilla ammo and so I will stick with the vanilla sound... If i create a new ammo then I will do another sound for it...

Sound for the large one is pretty good, makes it feel more distinct. Also the sound issue is solved on my end as well.

Do remember this is a rebuild of an old mod to useable / current specs, I didnt make the textures or models ( credit to Ravenbolt whom let me revive this mod ). Its why I reduced the rate of fire on this by 50 % or more vs what it was before. Previously it was firing so fast it was a laser beam of rounds.

Mayhaps. Also I'm curious; do you think the base of the gun being only 1x1 block being unbalanced? Comparing it to a Gau-8 it lacks the big "balls" in the back that house the ammuntion drum and motor that spins it up.
