@Gattsu I have been using photoshop and editing textures since I was young. It takes a lot of practice or school but it is really fun. There is a lot of technical stuff though as well as guides on forums.

How do you go about editing textures like this on characters faces? always wanted to get into making mods for this game :/

It has makeup on it. However, I wanted to do a new mod when I finish more Beautiful Tyrion/Teclis. I didn't get any sleep and have been constantly sick. It will have slight deviations from all of my mods based on well, feedback but not enough to change the default mods.

That's literally the same argument I'm making. I think you mistook me for opposing you. I'm fully in support of makeup, and what this mod has done, I was just correcting a guy who was saying all the female characters ingame look average due to no makeup because women IRL look average without makeup, when that's entirely false.

Now, can we peacefully settle this since we're both agreeing with one another? :)

I apologize if that was too much. I will continue to try to make more beautiful mods when I can though. Just be careful what you say, its actually kind of disappointing because this game has really good models, and I can't say that for a lot of newer games.

Like for example, some games hide their model's faults with makeup, this game doesn't. I can tell because I have changed the way things look by taking makeup away completely, or adding it in.

It is just amazing how good they are. I am suprised, especially by the newer ones being added.

... I actually lowered the amount of makeup the previous texture had by the way. May you all please stop arguing about stuff like this here? I don't agree with a lot of things said and I don't like (I have never deleted comments.) before but if all the comments are going to be arguing I will. I made this mod to make her texture more beautiful then it was, in my opinion but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The model for her is gorgeous, especially for how small it is and I doubt they pulled any punches on beauty for her either. This game is gorgeous and I so far have seen no sign of them lowering the beauty of the models.

The textures could use work, but I think they wanted to go for a more gritty in-battle look which I can understand.

I have not said anything for awhile but the messages do pop up in my feed, and I want to hear comments about my textures themselves, not arguments on stuff.

In game women aren't pretty because they aren't got ready and feminine except Death Hag and the Fae.

Vanilla Alarielle still acceptable but she is supposed to be of a stunning beauty.
She is a summit of refinement, we can see her jewels and her luxurious dresses so it's difficult to imagine her withour make-up for a reception with the elven aristocracy or for a public appearance.

The goal of this mod is "more beautiful Alarielle" so make-up can help so much. It's not "Natural and soft beauty".

Why be acceptable when you can be amazing?

Uhh, you entirely missed the point didn't you? The point was that he was saying that the women ingame are average because they aren't wearing makeup, implying that without makeup women look average, when that's false by your own admission as well because women (especially Alarielle, the most beautiful High Elf in lore) can look beautiful without makeup.

And just to fully prove you wrong, actually quite a few of the women in the game wear makeup :P
You got the vampiresses, the brettonian ladies, and i'd expect a lot of the female high elf units would have a lot of makeup too (especially handmaidens and all those who attend the everqueen). Finally that you imply women can't be beautiful without makeup is my favorite final parting line and more deliciously offensive considering how you opened up by lecturing on feminism.
