i'm confident that i have no mods that conflict with turret aiming or the weapon damage, the closest to that i have is stats displayed to me... which doesn't do anything

Never had problems with this mod. Are you perhaps using other mods that may affect turret behavior or conflicts?

why even nerf the default turret in the first place?
the tracking doesn't seem to be perfet, and still has some backtrack to it
projectile speeds don't seem to be accounted for, so rocket launcher projectiles will miss on non-still targets
this mod made me loose considerable amounts of framerate when nearby turrets, especially when multiple are defending a village, for example

i currently don't see how this mod is an upgrade to the default turrets

the base turret doesn't do enough damage and has too much spread, it forces me to get hundreds of snipers, pistols and such just for my one village

melee versions would be a fun idea too, with fists, daggers, short swords, broad swords, axes, lances, and hammers. like a second set of bionic arms that go on the shoulders, or fixed to the sides of the torso under the real arms. i personally like the side fixed idea :steamhappy:

mod works great. very useful. like it. do have a suggestion: make them able to fire throwables. compared to loading weapon data it should be easier. XD

My mod does not affect damage teams. That means the problem should occur with vanilla turrets as well.

Can you experiment it yourself? Log into your single player and get a turret up against Quest target. To see it really not the turret, not just insta reply in 2 seconds to shove out the problem.
This MOD is the only mod i have that relate to turret, if it affect me then it potential to happen on other clients.

Quick question, is this a bug or I'm just misunderstanding?
I built a base and leave 2 turret on top to defend, while I go do quests, and one of the quest spawn a bad guy NPC near my base and the turret shot him, and I finish him off as usual like every players would do.
But the quest don't progress like tell me to go get reward, the pointer still aiming at empty air. I have to abandon the quest. I have no problem personally, it just random generated quest, no big deal. But it just weird how turret dealt damage to quest target and cause that quest to stuck bug. IDK i'm not modder. Can you look into this? Author?

this compatible with the mod Shellguard. because it has custom turrets that already have weapons diffrent from the other variants

Not at that point. The original turrets didn't use guns. That was a later improvement. Then when the old weapon system changed to active items, they reverted the turrets. Presumably they didn't want to mess with it.

Can't tell directly from the list of mods supplied. If you really want this mod to work, then uninstall mods until you find out which one is causing the problem.

Is this mod compatible with Legendary Tooltips https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=740863523 now? The author of that mod said they won't make a patch for compatibility with this mod so I wondered if you'd edited this one.

I would assume you'd be able to figure out that there isn't even a need to have the reclaimable turrets mod with this, and probably less than a second later realize that they would probably conflict. There really is only so much a mod developer can do.
