@Spartytheknight, given the direction that upcoming version 0.15 is going, likely not. The new population and economic systems will rely on the buildings Konstantinos will be including in the mod.

@Jamfar, the development of your provinces decreases because the population of the province decreases. This will be fixed with version 0.15 that Konstantinos posted below, where there will be a fully implemented population and economic system.

I don't know what is up. But every time I develop my china provinces as Yuan, they only decrease. I know its not devastation because I developed the provinces to the point were I got rid of that.

Sorry for the late update. I have a family issue and busy with work in past few months (and now). But there is still process in the mod.I will release the working process for anyone who still interest in the mod,

I am trying to apply the population to whole world Currently I have finish old world.

@Mike Tven the mod includes a dynamic population system that is, at the moment, not complete. The population currently only decreases, which in turn decreases development. Konstantinos mentioned that his computer was close to dying a little while back, which is probably why the pop system hasn't been completed yet,

This problem might likely apply to the Manchuria areas, as well. But I am not sure.

The Steppe Mongolia areas can use a buff in population/manpower at start. A lot of the provinces are base 1 manpower. Mongolia, under North Yuan was able to fight and raid the Ming rather well. Though, not equal in strength, as it currently stands, China far outpaces the north in manpower and army limit.

I hope the population can be allocated to old world (at least) in the version 0.15, with overhaul population system with new building.

I also want to rework institution and change it to Socioeconomic Status to suit the population system, e.g. Merchant Capitalism (AD 1500), Global Contact (AD 1550), Commercial Finance (AD1600), Rise of Middle Class (AD 1700), Industrialisation (AD1750). (All of then are just very prelim.) But I afraid that I have to spend many time to it and may be in 0.16 version.

Dear all, thank you for all your support, and please be a little more patient. My aged old computer is coming the end and near broke down during past two weeks. I will try to update the submod 0.14.3 to compatible with Beyond Typus 11 if my computer can work tomorrow.

BT Proper will almost certainly be updated within a week from now, maybe less. Be prepared for the current version of this mod to break

@Konstantinos Is there any plan on editing this mod to make it compatible with The Ideas Variation? The mod edits building types, as well as adding new ones and editing modifiers.

It seems that it is due to high urban growth. Urban growth is based on urban city capacity, which is convex line. Rural population, COT, City level, buildings are some of the major factor for urban city capacity.
I am not satisfied with the variable City level, will be be replaced with more type of buildings in version 0.15.

Yuman province is adjusted in the latest update.
For the number of provinces, I am satisfied with the number in China. Japan maybe too much for the united Japan but under under-presented for Sengoku period.

After long busy in a daily life in November, I am back to work the mod again.

v0.14.2 uploaded for updating to Beyond Typus 10.0.1

I am working for v0.15, planning to apply the population to the world. Although the population in each provinces will be allocated by high-level first in the next release.

The below is the estimated population is applied (alpha version)
France: 15 million
Iberia: 7 million
England: 2.76 million
Wales: 0.25 million
Scoland: 0.51 million
Belgium:1.3 million
Netherland: 1.1 million
Italy: 10.5 million
Germany: 10.2 million

New buildings are added for the overhaul. (very early version)

Can you describe how the population mechanic works in your mod description please? I haven't actually played Ming yet with the mod, so maybe there are popups or events or the like, but I notice the fluctuating development when playing Japan.

I still believe a lot of the provinces, especially in less-populated areas- could be cut.

Also, Yumen in western China is oddly-shaped/discontiguous
