Good idea. Side buttons get in the way.

Hi, I have a made a mod pack called "Void Pack"
I would like to inform you that I am using your mod in the mod pack and simply want to show you that I do not take any credits of your incredible work
I have also linked your mod in my mod pack to prevent any misunderstanding

Could you make it so when a player levels up the side buttons appear, then disappear again once the skill/stat points are spent? I think that would be very useful, especially for low-level characters that levelup quickly out in the large zones. It's easy to forget about the points you have to spend when you're busy fighting.

Modders are welcome to reuse any of my mods in their work, but I always appreciate hearing where they're getting used.

Great job with mod. This was the easiest way for me to message you, but was hoping to get approval for me including this mod and any others that I may have included in a mod package I have put together. I have already credited you and made a link to this page within the link. Hope you're onboard.

Hey z, I was wondering if you could help me out with my HUD from Essentials. It regards this mod, and possibly more. I lack your expertise ;D

Friend me on Steam if you're up for it.

Great good job
Ihave tried by myself to get rid of that buttons which cause several deaths, but i don't succeed to make a toggle key so it was all or none.
You make it very well

Lol.

"It's not a bug, it's a feature!" See, you can sort your inventory in combat without that pet inventory popping up and blocking your view! But yeah, you're right. Shift+Click opens the pet inventory if it's not already open in town but not in the wild. Never noticed this myself because my key mapping always opens both inventories simultaneously.

I'll check it out and update the mod if there's a simple fix.

I think this mod may be causing a bug I've been encountering. When the side buttons are hidden, transfering items from the player's inventory to their pet's inventory doesn't always open the pets inventory tab. I haven't done thourough testing to isolate the bug to this mod, but thought I'd mention it anyways.

Great evolution of "no-side buttion"

Very effective.. thanks!

This is a fanastic alternative to No Side Buttons.
zParticle  [author] 29 Apr, 2013 @ 7:25pm
Probably outside the scope of this particular mod, but I'll play with it... you never know.
SimonaK 29 Apr, 2013 @ 5:59pm
can you make a 4 options button? 0 = all hide, 1 = pet hide, 2 = buttons hide, 3 = all show
SimonaK 29 Apr, 2013 @ 5:54pm
yes but you know, players using invisible pet can fishing and so having a pet for 5/15 minutes if they want. I cannot think to remove the panel permanently is a good idea. After all even players using pet can wish to hide panel if always they set the pet as aggresive or defensive..what ever.
zParticle  [author] 29 Apr, 2013 @ 5:41pm
If you're using the invisble pet mod, that sounds like an ideal enhancement for that mod. You really don't need the panel, so just hide it completely when that particular pet is active (you could still send loot to town via the inventory buttons). It's probably not appropriate for this mod, but I'd be happy to help the other mod's author with the logistics.
SimonaK 29 Apr, 2013 @ 5:31pm
ooooh I understand now that my idea is not perfect for someone needing pet while the fights......make 2 versions ....hihi :)
SimonaK 29 Apr, 2013 @ 5:27pm
I admit that I play without pet.....so, I use pet panel only to send my "invisible" pet sells the loot in town...so I would like to have show/hide the panel too in same time the menu buttons.
for my share, your mod is not only helping while intense fights but also a feature allowing more esthetism.
zParticle  [author] 29 Apr, 2013 @ 5:22pm
Pet panel: Isn't that providing valuable data in combat? Or do you want it off in town?
SimonaK 29 Apr, 2013 @ 5:06pm
Faaaaaaaantastic. no other word. I'm wondering if you cannot include the panel pet from left/top in your mod as well.
Lone Wolf McQuade 29 Apr, 2013 @ 2:51pm
Awesome idea, I'll need to try this out
