so is anyone else having an issue where the mod makes the armor without issue but you cant see the armor on your characters when wearing them unless you get super close to even see it on the models an if so how do i fix that or is it a loss cause?

I just had a thought. Could you make a version for the Fogmen? Obviously it'd be far more ethical to make armor out of the carcass of the Fogmen!

I forgot I had this mod on and Beep just, put his hiver chitin away in a chest. Beep transcends death, he chooses to end his life, yet death cannot take him. Even death fears the worlds strongest warrior. Definitely not a bug, it's a feature.

I suspect this mod may simply have a form of loading issue.

I found part of the problem with this mod. When I had a smith craft the armor it showed up just fine on those who wore it.
After closing Kenshi & then loading Kenshi back up, that armor only appears visible when zoomed in very closely.

So for some reason upon exiting the game the armor breaks visually, leaving a bunch of unarmored character models on the screen.
Now I do not know how to make/design mods so how to fix this broken mod is up to those with the skill set to do so.

The armor is bugging out so that it is only visible (And in only a glitched form, as in some parts of the armor is visible while others are not) when the camera is moved very close to the characters.

I have no clue either man. I have never had that happen before with any of my mods and I contacted the devs but they never responded.

the chitin doesnt drop on me for some reason, does it have to be a hiver from a hive nest or it drops on any hive?

I crafted hiver sandals but cant wear them

This mod is great. I run a six shek team of MA fighters and the armor has built in acid protection. I use the "wear hats with everything" mod and I get the dust and gas protection up to 100%. I also have green shek mods so my soldiers look great with this matching armor. Getting the skins to craft is easy and helps me level my armorer and my melee troops up at the same time while cashing in hive prince heads at mongrel at 6000 cats a piece. I also like how the shoes are sandals. Good mod. If the armor disappears, just reload a save game and it will come back.

What do you mean "Still working"? I don't believe anything has changed. Let me know if you run into issues, but as far as I know you should be good.

Will you ever consider making different variants made from South-hive and Dead-hive (fogmen) respectively?

My favorite mode for this game but armor stopped Showing up. would do that overy time i started the game but was fixed by reloading but now will no longer show up.

With the addition of actual Hiver shirts, will you be making a hive hunter shirt?

the second load of the game refreshes the mods models.

Try reloading your game. Not importing just reloading your save where you have the armour. Should solve your issue. It is some weird bug that I have no idea how to fix. Sorry about that. Let me know if that solved the issue.

Tried this mod but none of the armor models were showing up. It just looked like my guys were naked.

The clear icon btw is because I forgot to set the icon on mistake. It has no effect on anything. It is just an image.

No issues here. Kenshi crashes a lot in certain areas. I will look into it when I get a chance.

New game, 0 crashes. I go to foglands, pick up some chitin (it all has a clear icon). I walk like 100 yards, game crashes. I re-load, same deal. I import, same deal. Think it may be a corrupt save, start over with an old save. Go to foglands, pick up chitin, crash fest begins. I uninstall this mod, no more issues with crashing in foglands. I had this mod loaded last. Thoughts?

*looks at preview pictures* yep this checks out, ergonomically speaking this is how you use hiver body parts for clothing. I give it 8 beeps out of 10 lanterns.
